Chapter 1464: Conclusion
Redfist could no longer draw any health from his attacks, so he started worrying.
Tim started taking on more and more pain that wouldn’t just go away, but at least he wasn’t losing any healing to Redfist, so Redfist was in a similar situation as well.
He tapped into the strength stored in his box and began drawing in a lot of it. There was only half a night’s worth of strength in there, and it was running out quickly.
So, all he could do now was beat the man quickly and be done with this fight.
Tim punched Redfist and took a punch back in his face. He caught himself from falling and rushed in with another punch.
Redfist grabbed his arm and pulled him closer, intending to throw him over his shoulder and slam him into the ground. Just as he did that, Tim tapped into his weight, drawing a lot of it at once.
Redfist strained immediately as he couldn’t carry someone so heavy. Tim stuck his heel tightly on the ground and instead spun around so that it was Redfist that he was carrying.
Redfist tried to stop himself but with Tim’s strength and weight, he couldn’t do anything.
Tim sent the man slamming onto the ground, forcing him to grunt in pain. Tim took a few deep breaths and saw the situation. Redfist still hadn’t lost.
He reversed the storing of health and took the moment to heal. He hurt a lot and was worried he would faint from the pain soon.
Redfist rolled on the ground, trying to move away from the fight. Tim saw that and ran toward him, reversing the healing once more.
Redfist swiped at Tim’s leg, catching him while he wasn’t paying attention. Tim immediately fell to the ground and Redfist jumped on top of him and began pummeling him.
Tim immediately activated his bangle, feeling the lack of pain from the punches. Nothing was happening to him that could be considered bad, but he didn’t have a lot of time in this situation.
His body was stiff, so he couldn’t even move. He waited for the last moment and immediately tapped into strength once again, pushing the man away from him.
Redfist was tossed away from Tim, rolling on the ground for a while before he got back up.
He looked at Tim getting back up and knew that if he didn’t finish the fight quickly, he would lose. But he didn’t know what he could do.
He started moving around Tim, thinking what he could do. But there weren’t that many choices for him. All he could do was try to catch the young man off guard.
He decided to act on his instincts. He rushed forward ready to punch. Tim acted on instinct now, ducking at the last moment to dodge.
However, Redfist had never intended to punch at all. At the very last moment, he transitioned from a punch to a kick, bending his body as far as he could to power this one attack.
Tim’s head was lower now, as he was ducking, so the attack was more easier for Redfist. He put all his strength into his one attack and kicked.
His feet landed right on Tim’s face, releasing a soft sound instead of a loud one as his leg went in through Tim’s face, and out on the other side.
Tim’s face rippled for a moment and vanished. There was no Tim there at all.
“No—”
Something struck him on the side of the face and Redfist was pummeled into the ground with a bang. A cloud of dirt rose in the air, and even as it settled, Redfist was on the mound, immobile.
Tim came out of invisibility, his head ringing with physical and mental pain. He spit to the side, spitting out a mouthful of blood. Then he looked at Redfist and took a deep breath.
“Did I win?” he asked, turning away from Redfist to look at his subordinates.
The entire crowd was silent from top to bottom. Not a single person let out a single peep as this was the first time in a very, very long time that they had seen their captain lose to someone.
And the fact that this someone was a kid with barely a muscle to him, they were beyond shocked. They could only wonder what sort of treasure it was that they held.
“Did I win?” Tim repeated his question.
Gouge was the first one to quickly walk out of the stands and rush into the mound to check on the captain. He checked the man’s pulse and breathed a sigh of relief.
“He is knocked out completely,” Gouge said. “That means you win.”
“Good,” Tim said and felt the side of his cheek. It hurt a lot. He walked toward the stand and reached toward Jasmine who handed him the golden Book of Treasures.
Tim returned back to the mound and placed Redfist’s gloved hand on one of the empty pages of the book of treasures. A single second passed and a bright flash of light completely covered the entirety of the book, glimmering like the ocean at sunset.
When the light died down, he could read the text on the paper.
Glove Of Healing / Glove of Lifesteal / Glove of Life
Touch someone while activating the glove to take away their healing power and pour it upon yourself. Can be used on multiple people if they are touching each other through their bare skin. Will not work over clothes.
Tim nodded to himself in satisfaction. He had finally received 8 of the 10 treasures that he needed to list down on this paper.
“Great!” he said. “We’re done here.”
Gouge slowly nodded. “Yes,” he said.
“Will he be alright?” Tim asked.
“Don’t worry about him. He’ll heal within minutes once he comes back to consciousness,” Gouge said.
Tim nodded. “Then tell him our deal is completed,” he said and walked away from the dueling area to the stands. He met up with Jasmine, Ning, and Tony, and then together they left the area.
