The fight between the Giant Flaming Wolf and the dragon-transformed Long was still underway. Both Long and the Giant Flaming Wolf may look evenly matched; however, since Long’s primary attack was fire, the Giant Flaming Wolf was at an advantage. “Rargh!” Long growled, he grabbed the Giant Flaming Wolf by its jaw, trying to throw the Giant Flaming Wolf away. The Giant Flaming Wolf did not let Long do this, however, as it immediately curled up its body. The Giant Flaming Wolf used both of its legs to kick at Long’s torso, making the latter drop the Giant Flaming Wolf’s jaw.
The Giant Flaming Wolf spun in the air; using its superior agility, it landed smoothly on the ground. The same could not be said for Long, however. After losing his rationality, Long could not fully control his body since he only moved on instinct. Because of that, Long was sent flying to the air, crashing into a nearby rock. The Giant Flaming Wolf did not stop there; “Awoo!” it howled, then multiple copies of itself appeared. The copies resembled the original Giant Flaming Wolf. However, the difference between them was that the Giant Flaming Wolf’s copies had bodies made of fire.
“Awr!” the original Giant Flaming Wolf roared; it commanded the Giant Flaming Wolf’s copies to charge at Long. Long managed to claw himself out from the rubble, only to find that he was surrounded by multiple Giant Flaming Wolf. Long stomped, he looked at each of the wolves before roaring. Then, Long threw his staff in front of him before using it to jump high into the sky. The Giant Flaming Wolves growled with frustration as they looked at Long in the sky. Then, Long flapped his wings, he dived downwards before landing with a boom. Long’s landing caused a shockwave that hit most of the Giant Flaming Wolves.
The original Giant Flaming Wolf howled; it created more copies of itself. Long frowned, he was about to rush in, but he was quickly surrounded by the Giant Flamming Wolves. “Awoo!” the original Giant Flaming Wolf howled; it commanded its copies to swarm Long with numbers. Long struggled, but it was for nought as the Giant Flaming Wolf’s copies overwhelmed him with staggering numbers. Then, as Long got overwhelmed, the original Giant Flaming Wolf made more copies before ordering them to pile up on Long.
The Giant Flaming Wolves was too much for Long to handle as the latter got buried by the sheer amount of numbers that the Giant Flaming Wolves bring. As the Giant Flaming Wolves continued to pile up on Long’s body, it formed a mountain made of wolves. Long roared in frustration, making the original Giant Flaming Wolf grin with pleasure. Long bestial rage was at its peak as he tried to break free from the Giant Flaming Wolves.
The original Giant Flaming Wolf enjoyed Long’s struggle. When it had enough, the original Giant Flaming Wolf stomped the ground. Then, its copies lit up, and their temperatures rose. The original Giant Flaming Wolf looked up to the sky, howling loudly. At the same time, the copies temperatures continued to rise before eventually reaching their hottest point. After that, the Giant Flaming Wolf copies exploded, creating a giant pillar made of flame, engulfing Long and his surrounding.

Eru stopped in his tracks when he sensed the ground was trembling. Then, he saw another flaming pillar in the sky as his expression got uglier. “What the hell is this massive amount of mana!?” Eru cursed. He felt his skin tremble as he sensed dense fire mana in the air. He immediately rushed in towards the direction of the fire mana. Once Eru arrived there, he found a huge crater was created. And inside the fire crater was something that made Eru gawk, that made Eru’s eyes wide open in surprise.
“Dragon Force Technique…..” Eru exclaimed while looking at the person inside of the crater. Inside the crater was the now transformed Long, unconscious. “Well, I did not expect that”, Eru shook his head, “What the hell happened here?” he observed his surroundings. Eru felt like the temperatures in the surrounding area was really high. It even managed to slightly burn Eru’s skin. If Eru did not coat himself with his aura, then by now, he would’ve been cooked. “So, where is this guy adversary?” Eru pondered, “No way that he would transform if he did not face something powerful.”
Eru then canvased the area. “Not much to find here. Everything that was already here is already burned to crisps”, Eru stated. “Wait, there’s something there”, he muttered as he found footprints on the scene. “This size and shape… A wolf’s feet?” Eru pondered; he touched the prints, “And it’s really hot too. A fire wolf?” he deduced. He saw more traces of the fight; following that, Eru found an area that was not charred to bits. Then, Eru saw Ling lying unconscious below a tree. Eru hurriedly approached Ling; he checked on her conditions and heaved a sigh of relief when Eru found that Ling was just exhausted.
Eru was about to put Ling gently to the floor before he was shocked. Ling suddenly opened her eyes, flailing her hands as if she was afraid of something. “Whoa, whoa, whoa, chill out”, Eru tried calming Ling down. Ling’s eyes focused, and when she saw Eru, she calmed down and stopped flailing her arms. “Where the fuck have you been!? Do you know how much did I suffer because of you!?” Ling yelled out in frustration. Eru was delighted that Ling survived, but he was somehow pissed when Ling yelled at him like that.
“Well, fuck you too. Next time, I’m not coming back then”, Eru scoffed. “Then, you won’t pass your pilgrimage”, Ling pursed her lips. Eru clicked his tongue, “Hah”, he sighed, “So, can you tell me what happened?” Ling calmed herself down, she corrected his posture, “It’s long to tell, but I’m going to tell you anyway”, she chuckled, “Ever since you escape to who knows where we’ve been continuously attacked by wolves when the sun was up. And on the second day, we encountered that thing.”
“That thing?” Eru’s curiosity was piqued. “Yes, that thing. A terrifying monster I’ve ever seen after that Giant Wolf you beat”, Ling paused briefly, “And that terrifying monster was Long.” Eru rubbed his chin, “Really?” Ling nodded, “Yes. We were surrounded by a wolf pack. At first, we were able to fend them off, but as time passed by, we were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of wolves that attacked us.”
Then, Ling’s body shuddered; she trembled, and her hands were shaking, “And that was when it happened. I was spent; my entire mana pool was gone. I could not fight anymore as I slumped down to the ground. Seeing me powerless, Long smiled gently at me. Afterwards, he stabbed his staff to the ground before a massive amount of mana was gathering around Long. After that, Long crossed his arms before fully transforming. His transformation was similar to yours” Ling pointed her fingers at Long. “However”, Ling continued, “His transformation was slightly different. Unlike yours that was black, the energy that surrounded Long was red.”
Ling heaved a sigh, “After that, Long quickly decimated the entire wolf pack by himself. But, the more he fought, the more he lost himself into it. Then, immediately after Long finished killing every single wolf that he saw, he came for me. I tried to reason with him, but Long did not listen. He was about to kill me when a sudden howl interrupted him. After that, I blacked out.” Eru rubbed his chin, “The more he fights, huh” he considered. “Yes. And that was a warning to you too”, Ling pursed her lips, “Since your transformation was similar to his.”
“Hmm”, Eru pondered, “That is food for thought, food for thought.”

While Eru and Ling were talking, Long suddenly opened his eyes. His transformation was still not undone, and his bestial rage was still there. Long stood up, he scanned his surroundings, trying to find the Giant Flaming Wolf. After scanning for a while, Long could not find the Giant Flaming Wolf. Fury filled Long’s eyes as he roared up into the sky. Flames followed Long’s roar as it flew into the sky; the flames burst into the sky, filling it with hot temperatures.
Eru and Ling sensed the hot temperatures that flew into the sky. “That familiar feeling”, Ling trembled, “It’s Long; he’s coming here, isn’t he?” Eru frowned; he scrutinized the surroundings, “It’s okay, I don’t feel… Shit—” Eru immediately regretted his words as he saw a raging, transformed Long was approaching them slowly. Eru saw smoke coming from Long’s mouth, and the terrifying pressure coming from Long was no joke. “Damn it, did I have to use the Dragon Force Technique again?” Eru mumbled.
Then, Ling tapped Eru’s shoulder, “Eru, hurry up and transform!” she barked, “He’s coming here!” Eru saw Long flapped his wings, charging and rushing right at both Eru and Ling.
