Ling’s laser beam bounced off of Long’s red mana coating, but eventually, one of them managed to break through. Long screamed in pain; he hatefully glared at Ling. Ling flinched from Long’s intense glare as she unknowingly stepped back. Long appeared right in front of Ling in a flash. He grabbed Ling by her neck, trying to choke the life out of her.
“Let go of me!” Ling struggled in Long’s grip. But her struggle seemed to be in vain as Long gripped her more tightly by the second. “Let go, let—go, le….” Ling consciousness was about to fade, and just as it did, Long was suddenly flung back by something strong. “Ahack, hack, hack”, Ling coughed; she wheezed while clutching her chest. Ling looked up, her lips slightly curled up into a smile, “What the fuck took you so long?”
Eru’s figure was revealed by the sun shining brightly above him. His raven coloured aura shot up to the sky. Then, as Eru prowess grew, his appearance changed also. His moderate length black hair was slicked back, and two dragon horns sprouted on the side of his head. The two dragon horns were curled upwards, and scales were starting to appear on Eru’s skin while his two pupils, which were already slit, turned into a different colour. Eru’s amber coloured eyes redden, and a pair of raven-coloured wings burst out from Eru’s back, making his appearance akin to that of a dragon.
“Now we’ll see who’s transformation is stronger”, Eru yelled; he rammed his body towards Long. Their clash caused a loud bang as Eru’s raven-coloured aura, and Long’s red-coloured mana burst out. They tangled with each other, creating a pillar of two different colours all up into the sky. Long roared, fire gathered inside of his mouth. He opened his mouth, but before he could breathe out the fire, Eru immediately closed Long’s mount with his hand. “Your breath stink”, Eru said, slamming Long to the ground before grabbing his legs and throwing him up into the sky.
“Let’s test your aerial battle”, Eru smirked. He flapped his wings, pursuing Long through in the air. Long stopped his momentum by spreading his red-mana wings out, then he let out an angry roar at Eru. “Yeah, yeah, shut up already”, Eru said while brandishing his sword. Eru thrust his black sword, meeting with Long’s staff. The clash caused a small explosion in the sky, sending both Long and Eru back.
“Quite strong for someone that did not have their rationality”, Eru clashed again with Long. The confrontation between the two created a beautiful colour in the sky as a raven-coloured aura clashed with red-coloured mana. Black and red silhouette kept going at each other in the sky, making Ling that was looking from the ground opened her eyes wide. “Those two are all monsters”, she stated, “I kinda like it” Ling pursed her lips. “I shouldn’t dawdle here any longer. I better get out of here while I could.”
Eru sent a raven-coloured aura beam towards Long. Long gathered fire mana in his hand before sending them towards Eru. The fire and Eru’s raven coloured aura beam clashed in the air. Both Eru and Long seemed evenly matched, and they exploded in the air. Eru used the explosion as his cover. He flapped his raven-coloured wings, appearing in a flash right in front of Long. Long was caught off guard, and he let his face get grabbed by Eru. “Let’s send you somewhere else”, Eru said.
Eru flapped his wings; he brought Long towards the snowy mountains in the distance before slamming Long down on the ground. “Cool down a little”, Eru said while he continued to press Long’s head on the ground. The snow around them melted, and at the same time, Long’s red mana coating thinned. “Huh, this works”, realization dawned on Eru when he saw the impact the snow had on Long’s red mana coating. “Then, let us have fun in the snow”, Eru laughed while avoiding Long’s counterattack.
“Come, little lizard, follow me!” Eru taunted. Long fell for Eru’s provocation as he rushed headlong towards Eru. “Ei, you missed”, Eru dodged Long’s charge by the skin of his teeth. “Please, try again, good sir”, Eru smirked; he positioned himself before the mountain. Long charged again towards Eru, which Eru was able to smoothly avoid. Long crashed through the snow before quickly flying up, rage visible in his eyes. Long’s eyes were fixated on Eru that he did not notice what Eru was doing to him.
“Toro, toro. Come here, you little lizard, come and get me”, Eru provoked. Long continued being led by Eru, crashing several times on the snowy mountain. The snow on the mountain kept reducing as Long continued to crash on the mountain.

Back at Snow Slide Village, the burly Village Chief looked up to the sky and found that the temperatures were getting hotter, “What is going on up there?” he scrutinized, finding that the snow was not as thick as before. Eh, must’ve been my imagination”, the burly Village Chief continued on doing his chores.

“Grrr”, Long growled, his breathing was already unsteady, and his skin turned blood red. Eru did not miss this, “His body is deteriorating. It seemed like Long used the Dragon Force Technique for a long time. This is my chance”, Eru muttered. “Since something cold was effective against him, I’ll continue to lead him on around the snowy mountain,” then, Eru brandished his sword, he sent an energy blade towards Long, which Long blocked using his staff. However, the energy blade was not Eru primary means of attack. Instead, Eru used the energy blade as a cover.
“Get down”, Eru yelled; he raised his feet high up in the sky. He swung down his feet, hitting Long right at the back of his head. “Rargh!” Eru grunted; he kicked down with power, sending Long crashing down to the ground. Then, Eru followed Long, appearing right in front of Long in an instant. Eru grabbed Long’s face before flapping his wings. Eru ground Long onto the snow, then he threw Long towards a nearby lake. “Cool down”, Eru said, aura gathered on his sword. Eru slashed down at Long from a distance, sending more energy blades towards Long.
Long roared as Eru’s energy blades barrage hit him. Long struggled to get away, and when he was about to fly, Eru energy blades hit Long, sending him back to the ground. While Eru was sending energy blades, he noticed that Long’s skin reddened even more as blood continued to leak from his skin. “I need to knock him out fast; if not, he could’ve died from the Dragon Force Technique,” Eru muttered. He flapped his wings, diving down towards Long, targeting his head.
But, how could Long allowed that to happen so easily? Long tried to strike Eru with his staff, but due to his already weakened state, Eru was able to overpower Long. Eru skillfully swung his sword, he slashed towards Long, aiming for Long’s vital spot. Watching Eru’s barrage of slashes, Long could do nothing except to protect his body. Long’s instinctive reaction was to turtled up, seeing as he had already lost a lot of his power. Eventually, Long could not hold on any longer, and his knees buckled down.
Eru saw that Long’s power was nearly depleted; Eru once again grabbed Long’s head, flying high into the sky and sending him crashing down to the ground. Eru dragged around Long’s body towards the snow, beating him down until the ground caved in. Eventually, Eru saw that Long did not retaliate, and he stopped. Eru saw Long’s transformation was slowly undone. “Phew, finally”, Eru breathed a sigh of relief, “I need to hurry up and bring Long from here lest my transformation ran out.” Eru could feel that his body was starting to break down. He put the unconscious Long before flying away from the snowy mountains.

Eru flew towards the Forest of Death. Eru scanned the area, and he did not find Ling. “Where the hell did she go?” Eru shook his head. Then, Eru flew back towards Lan Di village and scanned there. “There she is. And she brought our back too, how nice”, Eru said. “I better land nearby and undo my transformation. But, I need to hurry up a little bit after I undo my transformation. I don’t want to pass out where there are no people after all”, Eru muttered as he landed right beside the village.
After landing, Eru immediately ran, using all of his power towards Lan Di village. But, before he could arrive at Lan Di’s Village, Eru felt his strength leave his body. “Damn it, why now!?” Eru clicked his tongue, trying so hard to hold his consciousness. Fortunately, thanks to Eru’s amazing perseverance, Eru was able to carry Long until he reached Lan Di’s village entrance. When he arrived, Eru found the village guard was heading towards them, looking all worried.
‘Thank goodness’, Eru thought before letting his consciousness go.
