While Eru was fighting Lan Di, the Village Chief was stuck inside the basemen. Long kept him there for a while. They clashed and clashed, but Long was seemingly coming on top. The Village Chief pointed his spear at Long, “How lucky! You’re fortunate enough to experience my, Li Qiye, full power. Bow before my might!” he declared arrogantly.
A suppressive aura hit Long, pressuring him, forcing him so that he needed to kneel on the ground. The Village Chief, Li Qiye, laughed maniacally. He brandished his spear before stabbing it at Long. Long grunted, he struggled with his power just to avoid Li Qiye’s thrust. Li Qiye immediately followed up his thrust by sending a simple swipe of his spear towards the rolling Long. Long put his hand on the floor, mana gathered in his hand as he shouted, “Fire Blast!” Long managed to avoid Li Qiye’ spear by jumping high thanks to the impact from the blast.
However, while Long did manage to avoid death, he was sent flying into the ceiling. His back hit the ceiling really hard, causing him to cough blood. “Hahaha, you’re not bad. Your quick thinking of using your magic to avoid my strike is commendable. But, I must warn you, that’s not all I’ve got”, Li Qiye stated arrogantly. He pointed his spear at Long, “Get ready!” he warned as he rushed towards Long, sending a barrage of thrust. Long gritted his teeth, he brandished his staff, barely parrying Li Qiye’s attack.
Long then decided to use his advantages against Li Qiye, and that was his spells. He mixed up his staff skills and his spell to finally be able to fight Li Qiye on even ground. “Good, good. That’s the way. Fight back; use all of your power. And when you do, grovel before me when you die!” Li Qiye said as aura gathered on the tip of his spear. Li Qiye thrust forward, an energy beam came out from the tip of Li Qiye’s spear. Long spun his staff mid-air, “Barrier”, he shouted, the staff held back Li Qiye’s energy beam, but it was not the end. Li Qiye slid low; he brandished his spear, swiping towards Long’s legs.
Once he noticed Li Qiye’s spear, Long instantly jumped up as Li Qiye smirked. He put up his palm, letting out an energy blast that hit Long square in the jaw. Li Qiye was about to send a stab, but Long used the momentum from the former’s energy blast to flip back, distancing himself from Li Qiye. Long panted hard, he glared at Li Qiye while clutching his chest. “Is that it? That’s all you’ve got? I gotta say, you disappointed me”, Li Qiye mocked with a sneer. “Then, this is goodbye. Hopefully, your friend provided a more enjoyable challenge than you” Li Qiye gripped his spear, “Goodbye!”
Just as Li Qiye’s spear was about to be stabbed into Long, Long gritted his teeth. “Partial Transformation!” Long shouted. Long’s mana covered his entire arm, coating them, turning them slightly scally. Long’s dragon arm managed to block Li Qiye’s spear. Long swiped his arm, sending Li Qiye flying through outside the basement. Li Qiye flipped in midair, controlling his fall; his expression was ugly. Li Qiye wiped the blood on his mouth before letting out a laugh, “Hahaha, what the hell is that?” he asked Long that chased after him.
“A secret weapon”, Long replied nonchalantly. “Is that so?” Li Qiye looked at Long with interest, “Then, that’s the way. Or else, it would not even be fun!” Li Qiye grinned as he rushed towards Long. “Rargh!” Long roared, he blocked Li Qiye’s thrust with his mana coated arm before thrusting his staff at Li Qiye’s shoulder. Then, when Long’s staff was about to hit Li Qiye’s shoulder, Long shouted, “Fire Blast!” The tip of Long’s staff exploded, catching Li Qiye off guard. The explosion sent Li Qiye flying back, crashing into a nearby tree.
Long wasn’t finished yet. He chased Li Qiye, and with his transformed arm, he pinned Li Qiye down to the ground. Then, Long gathered his mana on his transformed arm, “Explosion”, he shouted. A loud boom happened right away, creating a huge crater instantly. Long jumped backwards completely, observing the situation with wary eyes. After a couple of seconds, Li Qiye came out from the smoke of the explosion, all dishevelled. Li Qiye clothes were in tatters, and blood could be seen dripping from his body.
“Hahaha”, Li Qiye laughed maniacally while his body was full of blood, “Not bad, not bad. You managed to wound me.” Li Qiye then took out a bottle of potion, gulping it down, “You managed to severely injure me, you shit fuck!” Li Qiye’s wound instantly closed down, then he glared at Long with killing intent. Li Qiye brandished his spear; he flared up his aura, and a visible dark yellow aura covered the entire area. “Tch”, Long licked his tongue; he readied up his posture and, putting his staff in the front, he rushed towards Li Qiye. “Die!” Li Qiye responded to Long’s challenge by rushing towards Long, clashing their weapons.

Lan Di crashed through the ground; he slid on the ground, eating dirt and grass. “Is that all? You blabber about Dark Heavens this and Dark Heaven that, but you are weak as heck”, Eru mocked while putting his black sword on his shoulder. “Fuck you, fuck you!” Lan Di let out curses again and again while he tried crawling to safety. Eru jumped towards Lan Di, landing right in front of him, “Where the hell are you going?” he grabbed Lan Di by the neck before lifting him up.
“Now, tell me why you set us up, and tell me about that Dark Heaven you blabbed so much about”, Eru threatened as he tightened his grip on Lan Di’s neck. “I—will—never—talk”, Lan Di struggled to talk while his legs were kicking around. “You never talk, huh? We’ll see about that” Eru gathered his aura in his palm. Eru vibrated the aura in his palm before sending putting it onto Lan Di’s torso. That caused Lan Di an excruciating pain as his face contorted. “What—did—you—do—to—me?” Lan Di asked while in pain.
“Vibrating all of your innards until it can’t take it anymore and killing you softly”, Eru said with a straight face. “Now, you can either talk, and I’ll kill you painlessly, or you don’t talk, and you’ll die slow, excruciating death”, Eru threatened. “I won’t talk”, Lan Di stubbornly said, struggling to get out from Eru’s grip. “Suit yourself”, Eru vibrated his aura even more violently, causing Lan Di to feel worse pain. After a whole minute, Lan Di’s expression got worse, and his face was blue. Lan Di breathed hard, and his heartbeat was almost gone.
“Come on, talk”, Eru urged, “And it will all go away.” Lan Di slightly opened his mouth but immediately closed it again. “I will never talk”, Lan Di gritted his teeth. Eru raised his eyebrow; he looked closely at Lan Di before shaking his head, “I admire your loyalty. So be it”, Eru said before gripping Lan Di’s neck a little harder. He sent his aura towards Lan Di’s head, “Glory to the Dark Heavens!” Lan Di said before his head was blown up. Eru dropped Lan Di’s body down on the ground; he walked back a little bit before aiming his palm at Lan Di’s body, “Explosion!” After Eru chant, Lan Di’s body exploded, leaving no trace of him in the world. Eru sighed, “Right, I’ll check on Long”, he said before disappearing in a flash.

Long was thrown towards a nearby tree as he lost out to Li Qiye in a contest of strength. “You, what are you?” Long asked. “Me? Since you’re about to die, let me tell you. I’m the sole inheritor of Gale Kingdom, the invincible emperor Li Qiye. However, due to some complications, my soul was sent to this shitty body, and a slave to that guy” Li Qiye paused. He seemed to sense something before letting out a hearty laugh. “Hahaha”, tears streamed from Li Qiye’s eyes, “That guy is finally dead. Finally, I’m free!” he delightedly shouted.
Li Qiye looked at Long, he pointed his spear at him, “Your partner killed this body’s master. Send him my gratitude once I sent him too to the netherworld.” Li Qiye flared up his aura; he opened his mouth, readying to kill Long, “Die!” Long closed his eyes, ‘If only I could transform, I would not be like this. Instead, I’m going to get killed by some nobody. I’m sorry, brother Eru,’ he thought in his head.
