Xu Zhu finally arrived in the area. He closed his eyes, feeling that there were two aura fluctuations. “Did they all get killed? No matter, they would be a hindrance for me anyway. Time to meet the enemy”, Xu Zhu muttered then he appeared right in front of Li Qiye and Eru. “You the Dark Heavens reinforcements? Just you?” Li Qiye provoked while snickering at Xu Zhu. “I’m enough for dealing with you two”, Xu Zhu replied stoically. Li Qiye’s lips curled up into a small smile, “Is that so? We got a confident one here.”
Li Qiye stomped his spear to the ground, “You just wait, I’m going to kill this guy on my own.” Eru raised his eyebrow, “Are you sure?” he asked. Li Qiye nodded confidently, “Of course. I’m the heaven themselves. If I want someone to die, they have to die.” Eru shrugged his shoulders, “Suit yourself”, he said as he walked towards a nearby tree before sitting cross-legged below it, meditating. Xu Zhu felt offended by this, “You’ll regret saying that to me.” Then, Xu Zhu flicked his wrist. After that, a giant club appeared out of nowhere as Xu Zhu grabbed them with one hand.
Xu Zhu let out his aura; a light blue aura emerged from within himself. “I’ll kill you quickly”, Xu Zhu stated as he rushed towards Li Qiye with his giant club in hand.

Eru opened his eyes after he finished his meditation. However, what Eru found as soon as he opened his eyes was Li Qiye, squatting on the ground, panting and glaring hatefully at Xu Zhu. “You!” Li Qiye growled while Xu Zhu looked down on Li Qiye. “Is that all? All that smack talk and you can’t even back it up”, Xu Zhu snickered, “I thought something was up when Master Taiboku sent me here. I think his fear is exaggerated.” Li Qiye snarled, “Fuck you! If only I had my full strength, you would be nothing in front of me.”
Xu Zhu let out a small mocking laugh, “Is that so? Only weaklings use excuses when they lose. Die!.” Xu Zhu’s club was about to hit Li Qiye before Eru launched an energy blade, forcing Xu Zhu to stop his club and block Eru’s attack. Xu Zhu squinted his eyes towards Eru. “Don’t interfere!” Li Qiye snapped at Eru; his eyes were red with rage. Eru shrugged his shoulders, “Just say thank you next time”, Eru said as he pulled his black sword from its scabbard. Eru flashed forward, appearing between Xu Zhu and Li Qiye.
“It’s my turn now! You go rest up over there”, Eru said while kicking away Li Qiye towards a tree. “Fuck you!” Li Qiye cursed as he flung back, rolling on the ground until eventually being stopped by a tree. “Sorry about him. He could be a dick sometimes”, Eru talked to Xu Zhu. “You two continued to underestimate me. Face me together, or you will fall to my might!” Xu Zhu arrogantly said. Eru’s eyebrows raised, “Huh, Li Qiye was right. You are arrogant,” Eru shrugged his shoulders.
Suddenly, Eru flashed forward. Eru brandished his sword, trying to slash Xu Zhu into two. This forced Xu Zhu to block using his massive club. However, since Eru managed to force Xu Zhu to block, Eru immediately used his feet to kick Xu Zhu in the torso before pointing his hand at the large man. “Explosion!” Eru shouted; fire mana gathered around Xu Zhu before exploding out. The blast sent Eru flying back. However, thanks to his agility, Eru managed to stabilize himself in the air and landed perfectly.
Not long after, though, Xu Zhu came out unscathed from the explosion and went out charging at Eru with a fierce expression and holding his giant club up high. Xu Zhu roared; he closed in on Eru, swinging his giant club at Eru. “That thing is massive as hell. I doubt you could swing it ea—” before Eru managed to finish his sentence, the giant club came at him fast. “Whoa!” Eru was able to dodge in time, but Xu Zhu immediately rotated his arms, changing the direction of his attack. ‘What the hell!?’ Eru was dumbfounded when he witnessed Xu Zhu swinging a giant club with relative ease.
Xu Zhu came at Eru like a whirlwind, making Eru unable to do anything, forcing him to only just dodge. ‘Damn it! If it continues like this, I would be in trouble,’ Eru thought as he looked for a way to stop Xu Zhu. Eru squinted his eyes; he observed Xu Zhu while dodging his attack. Then, Eru noticed something. Xu Zhu’s whirlwind attacks used his feet to pivot himself on the ground. ‘That’s it!’ Eru’s eyes brightened. Then, when Xu Zhu rotated himself again, Eru jumped high into the sky. He pointed his fingers toward the ground before shouting, “Explosion!”
The ground below Xu Zhu exploded, preventing Xu Zhu from advancing any further. But, after a while, Xu Zhu came out unscathed again, but this time Eru was ready. He closed in on Xu Zhu, then he threw an energy blade at Xu Zhu’s feet. Eru did not stop there, however. Since Xu Zhu was several times taller than Eru, the latter jumped up. Eru coated his black sword with his raven-coloured aura. He brandished his sword, slashing at Xu Zhu’s head. “Die!” Eru yelled.
But, what Eru did not expect was that Xu Zhu stayed unflinching facing his two attacks. “Ha!” Xu Zhu yelled; his light blue aura repelled both Eru and his energy blade, sending Eru flying back quite far. “Is that all? You, too, disappointed me!” Xu Zhu domineeringly said as he continued his whirlwind of an attack towards Eru. Eru clicked his tongue, ‘From what I gathered so far, this guy is at least a 4th Grade Aura Master, if not even a 5th Grade Aura Master. If so, I need to use Eruken from the start,’ Eru thought in his head.
Before Xu Zhu managed to get close to Eru, the latter’s aura surged. “Eruken!” Eru yelled as a raven-coloured aura spiralled around him. Eru’s power rose, and he immediately appeared right in front of Xu Zhu, clashing his black sword with Xu Zhu’s club. Eru expected that Xu Zhu would at least flinched backwards. However, to Eru’s surprise, Xu Zhu stood his ground. “Now that’s more like it!” Xu Zhu smiled before using more force to content with Eru’s strength. “Tch”, Eru grumbled while struggling against Xu Zhu.
Once Eru felt that he could not contend with Xu Zhu’s strength, Eru smoothly parried Xu Zhu’s giant club into the ground and slashed at Xu Zhu’s torso. However, since Xu Zhu was equipped with body armour, Eru black sword just bounced back to him. “What are you trying to do?” Xu Zhu sarcastically asked. He smirked as he did a shoulder bashed to Eru, sending him backwards. Then, Xu Zhu swung his hand down, bashing Eru with his giant club. Eru had chills down on his spine as he barely managed to dodge.
The ground caved in deep from Xu Zhu’s giant club. Eru watched this in horror, ‘If that hit me, I would be a rice pudding by now,’ he thought in his head. Then, Eru flared up his raven-coloured aura; he appeared beside Xu Zhu before attacking him at a different angle. Xu Zhu stood unmoved. But he would regret his decision when Eru’s black sword hit his left arm. Since Eru could not cut Xu Zhu’s armour previously, Eru thought of a solution on the spot.
Eru remembered something in his previous life. Eru remembered that a high-frequency vibrating blade could almost cut through everything. Then, Eru thought if he could somehow replicate that, theoretically, Eru could cut through Xu Zhu’s armour. Eru bravely tried it on the spot, coating his black sword with his raven-coloured aura and vibrating the aura around his black sword, thining it until the aura was barely visible on the black sword.
Then, using that, Eru moved forward and, using his knowledge that Xu Zhu was arrogant and domineering, believing himself to be invincible. Eru tried using that to his advantage, and now, Eru managed to cut through Xu Zhu’s armour, slashing his left hand clean. Then, Eru immediately distanced himself from Xu Zhu. “How about that!” Eru clenched his fist. “You!” Xu Zhu growled as he watched his left arm fall to the ground. Blood flowed like a river from his left shoulder, but Xu Zhu immediately stopped it by clenching his muscle.
Xu Zhu’s aura rose to an unimaginable height, “I’ll kill you!” he shouted with anger. Xu Zhu glared at Eru hatefully as intense killing intent rose from within him. Xu Zhu’s light blue aura shot up into the sky, emitting pressure upon the entire area around him. “Guh!” Eru grunted; he braced himself, planting his feet on the ground. Xu Zhu’s eyes were filled with rage. He glared at Eru fiercely as he approached closer towards Eru. Every step Xu Zhu took, the air around him crackled, “You’re dead!”
