Reincarnator’s Adventures – Chapter 130

Chapter 130

Chapter 130: Chapter 130

While Long was battling the Giant Blue wolf, the pressure emitted from the Giant Blue Wolf continued to intensify. The pressure from the Giant Blue Wolf crept out, reaching Sydney and her men. Sydney buckled down even more, forcing her to use her sword to propel herself. Blood trickled from her mouth as Sydney tried to keep her consciousness open. She gritted her teeth as she saw her subordinates collapse one by one. Foam came out from their mouths, and their body was bleeding.

Upon seeing that scene, Eru frowned. He appeared right in front of Sydney and her men in an instant before brandishing his black sword to stab into the ground. “Ha!” Eru shouted, his raven-coloured aura expanded, dissipating the pressure weighing down on Sydney and her men. “Yo, you’re alright?” Eru asked calmly. Sydney was speechless; she unconsciously nodded her head. Eru flashed a gentle smile at Sydney before turning his head towards Long, “Don’t play around! There are people dying here!” Eru yelled.

Long turned his attention towards Eru, “Sure thing, brother Eru.” The Giant Blue Wolf noticed that Long’s attention was not on it. The Giant Blue Wolf used the opportunity presented to it by slamming its body at Long, sending him flying. However, the Giant Blue Wolf attacks did nothing to Long but piss him off. “You dirty mutt!” Long get up immediately, he dusted off his clothes. Red-coloured mana started to swirl around Long’s body, “You’re dead!” That red mana was beginning to form into a dragon-shaped armour. While the red-coloured mana was forming around Long, the Giant Blue Wolf seemed to sense something was foreboding.

The Giant Blue Wolf whimpered for a second before its pride reminded it of the humiliation that Long did to it. The red-coloured mana continued to form around Long, but before it did, Eru shouted, “Stop playing around! Finish it quickly, or you’ll leave it to me!” he barked. The red-coloured mana stopped forming as Long expression slowly turned normal. “You’re right, brother Eru. It’s time I ended this farce”, Long said while spinning his staff. Then, a red hexagonal pattern appeared right in front of Long before thrusting his staff to the pattern.

Long’s staff was set on fire, “Here I come, mutt!” he charged at the Giant Blue Wolf with his flaming staff in his hand. The battle between the Giant Blue Wolf and Long continued, but this time, instead of Long playing around, he quickly overpowered the Giant Blue Wolf. “Why couldn’t he do that from the start….” Eru shook his head in exasperation. The battle between Long and the Giant Blue Wolf was getting to its end. The Giant Blue Wolf was on its end as its whole body trembled, shaking as if it was about to break down. “You ready to die, mutt?” Long twirl his staff, holding it with both hands before stabbing the Giant Blue Wolf like a spear.

As Long stabbed, the fire around his staff gathered in its tip. The fire formed into a spearhead as it slowly stabbed into the Giant Blue Wolf’s head. “Burst!” Long shouted. And, as soon as Long shouted, the Giant Blue Wolf was charred thanks to a burst of flame that came out from Long’s staff. The Giant Blue Wolf howled in pain; it tried to use everything in its power to escape from Long’s staff. However, how could Long let the Giant Blue Wolf do that? Long immediately stomped, craving the ground below the Giant Blue Wolf. Caught off guard by that, the Giant Blue Wolf fell down to its knees while Long’s fire continued to burn it alive.

Sydney, who was watching the battle behind Eru, vomited when she saw the Giant Blue Wolf was burned alive. Eru, too, flinched when he saw what Long had done. He clicked his tongue, “Finished it quickly, you dolt!” Eru barked. Long sighed, “You’re no fun, brother Eru”, he said as he nonchalantly stabbed his hand into a burning fire and into the Giant Blue Wolf’s head, killing the poor bastard instantly. “You’re lucky, mutt”, Long spat, “Not many creatures that face me have a quick ending in their life.” After Long said that, the fire from Long’s staff dissipated with a snap of Long’s finger.

Long swung his staff, cleaning the remains from the Giant Blue Wolf, then he turned towards Eru with a face full of smile. “And that’s that”, Long said with a hint of pride, “How did I do, brother Eru?” Eru sighed; he shook his head, “Cover that hole up, please. The smells are everywhere.” Long sniffed, he noticed the smell protruding from the dead Giant Blue Wolf, “Yeah, that smell is bad”, he said as he swung his staff around, burying the Giant Blue Wolf’s corpse into the soil below. Then, Long jumped from where he was and into Eru’s side. After that, Eru suddenly smacked Long in the head with his scabbard, “Do it quickly next time, bastard.”

Feeling wrong, Long looked at Eru with helplessness, “What did I do?” Eru pointed behind him, “Look around you.” Long glanced behind Eru, seeing that Sydney was kneeling on the ground while her subordinates passed out. Long gaze returned back to Eru, “How is that my problem?” Eru shook his head, “What should I do with you?” Eru mumbled. Then, Eru extended his hand at Sydney, “Can you get up?” Sydney wanted to grab Eru’s hand but hesitated in the end. “Huh? What’s wrong? Are you hurt anywhere?” Eru asked with concern. Not long after, Sydney proceeded to grab Eru’s hand, “Nothing. I’m fine.” Eru helped Sydney stand to her feet.

“Thank you very much”, Sydney said, slightly bowing her head towards Eru. Eru nodded, “Your welcome” Eru glanced at the unconscious men, “Let’s do something about your men over there.” Sydney looked at her subordinates, “We should”, she said before carrying her subordinates one by one into their tent. “Let me help”, Eru said as he too carried Sydney’s subordinates. Eru glared at Long, “You help too”, he said. Long grumbled, “Fine”, he said as he reluctantly followed what Eru and Sydney did.

“Is that everybody?” Eru asked while putting down the last of Sydney’s men. “That should be the final one” Sydney checked the condition of her men. She turned towards Eru, “Thanks again” Sydney smiled while bumping her fist into Eru’s shoulder. “As I said earlier, it’s fine”, Eru replied, “Do you need any more help?” he offered. Sydney shook her head, “Nope, this is enough.” Eru nodded, “Right, I’m going out now.”

“Uhm”

“What is it?” Eru glanced behind. “C-can I ask you something?” Sydney asked with hesitation. Eru turned his body back, “Sure, shoot it.” Sydney erected her posture, “How did you become so strong for someone so young? Looking at your face, I reckoned you’re way younger than me but already more powerful. I’m guessing you’re a 2nd Grade Aura Master?” Sydney asked; her eyes sparkled brightly. Eru was taken aback for a second before letting out a slight chuckle, “It’s just that?” Eru’s expression brightened. Sydney bashfully squirmed her body, her cheeks reddened, “You don’t have to make fun of me.”

Eru smiled, “I’m not making fun of you. It’s just that not many people would ask something like that to a person they just met, you know?” Eru looked at the dark-skinned woman in front of him with a new light. “Humph, I’m not like most people”, Sydney sulked. “Yeah, yeah, you’re different”, Eru said with a smile, “Most people are either too shy to ask or had too much pride in their own techniques to learn from other people.” Sydney eyed Eru, “So, you’ll teach me?” Eru nodded, “Sure. If you have time tomorrow, I’ll teach you my method. But, you’ll have to ask your master first tomorrow.”

Sydney’s eyes brightened before suddenly, realization dawned on her, “Oh, shit!” she cursed before jetting out from the tent. Eru scratched the back of his head, “I guess she finally remembered about her employer, huh”, he let out a small giggle.

The sun rose, the birds chirped, and the air was fresh. Eru woke up; sweat filled his entire body, and his expression contorted. “Haah, haah, haah”, Eru panted, he clutched his chest, and his eyes turned back and forth between his normal eyes and his transformed eyes. “What the hell is happening to me….” Eru muttered as he shook his head, “Why is that nightmare still haunted me to this day? After not having it for several days, why did it suddenly come back?”

Eru came out from his tent, then he saw Long preparing a breakfast of another horned rabbit. “Oh, good morning, brother Eru” Long greeted Eru with a smile. Eru nodded, “Good morning”, he said before taking out a tower from his backpack and walking towards the barrel near his tent. Eru opened the lid to the barrel and scooped up a bucket of water to wash his face and brush his teeth. “Oh, yeah”, Long spoke, “That Sydney woman was looking for you earlier; she said that you agreed in training her”, Long said while winking at Eru.

Eru sighed, “Haah, here we go again.”
