“Really? I find it hard to believe that you’re not the slightest bit angry by this”, Eru quipped. Alexandro rubbed the back of his head, “Seriously, I’m not mad. It all happened in a duel anyway. Injuries and death were common in a duel between two Aura Masters. It’s just Deddy’s background that annoyed me. I had to deal with his nagging father tomorrow thanks to what you’ve done today.” Eru let out a small chuckle, “Haha, you’re an interesting person, Mr Alexandro.”
Alexandro waved his hands, “Yeah, yeah. Now, can you please do me a favour and go up to your room? I’m planning to have May take you there, but it looks like she’s not available. Why don’t you find out yourself, huh? I’m sure plenty would like to help you”, he said as he walked lazily towards the lift, “Seriously, what a drag” Alexandro pressed the button as the lift door opened automatically.
Eru looked dumbfounded as he watched the guild master leave just like that, “Huh, what a strange person”, he rubbed his chin. Then, Eru heard a ding inside of his head.

Eru sighed, “Why did I even bother accepting these quests anyway?” he then looked at his Fate Points in his status windows. “Add 5 more to the collection”, Eru let out another sigh, “I don’t even use the system much nowadays anyway. Why did I even bother?” Eru sheathed Buddy back to its scabbard, “Good work today, Buddy.” Then, Eru heard a notification pop up in front of him.

After all that happened today, Eru proceeded to go up towards the Adventurers Pub upstairs. There, he found that Cina, the red-haired beauty and many adventurers were waiting for him. When Eru walked out from the lift, Cina raised a jug of beer in her hand, “Glory to the liberator!” she shouted, then the rest of the adventurers replied cheerily by raising their own jug of beer, “Huzzah!”
“Uh, what are you guys doing?” Eru’s mouth was opened wide, seeing the scene in front of him. Cina stood up; her face was jubilant and slightly red. “Of course, we’re celebrating”, she put her arm around Eru, “Thanks to you, my friend, we managed to get our revenge.” Eru raised his eyebrow, “Really? Just for that?” Cina nodded, “Of course. You might not know, but all of us here was the victim of that bald bastard whose hand you cut off. So when you came in and humiliated that bastard”, Cina embarrassingly rubbed her nose, “You know what it is.”
Eru was dumbfounded at first but quickly chuckled, “Alright, alright. I accept all of your praise”, Eru said sarcastically. “Yeah!” the adventurers cheered, “Have a drink, then” a skinny, glasses-wearing adventurer approached Eru. “Taking the initiative to approach people now, huh, bartender” Cina smirked. “Quit calling me that”, the glasses-wearing adventurer said, annoyed. “Haha, chill out already”, Cina pat the glasses-wearing adventurer in the back, “Let me introduce you to this guy. His name is Jerome, and he’s the bartender here.”
The skinny, glasses-wearing adventurer bowed, “Nice to meet you”, he said softly, “My name is Jerome, and thank you very much for what you did.” Eru saw that tears were slowly coming out from Jerome’s eyes, “Uh, you okay there, dude?” Jerome tried to wipe his tears, but his tears kept coming out, “I’m sorry, I-I’m sorry. It’s just that watching you beat up Deddy liberated something inside. My feeling was touched, and it gave me closure. Thank you very much”, Jerome bowed once again.
Eru was flabbergasted, ‘How many people did that guy offend? And this Jerome dude in front of me…. What did Deddy do to this guy?’ Eru pondered. Cina patted Jerome on his back harder, causing Jerome to flinch, “Come on, enough with the sappy stuff” Cina then took a jug of beer, “Tonight, we’re going to celebrate!” she declared while forcing Jerome to drink the beer.

While Eru and the adventurers were partying in the Adventurers Pub, a man with a curly moustache barged into the guild master room; his eyes were red. full of rage and fury. “You better explained to me what happened, sissy Alexandro!” he shouted while stomping the floor with his right feet. The guild master, Alexandro, sat leisurely on his chair, frowning, “You call me sissy again, and I’ll destroy your life”, Alexandro threatened, emitting his aura outside, scaring the man with the curly moustache.
The man with a curly moustache flustered a little before collecting himself, “Y-you better explain yourself for what happened to my son!” Alexandro leaned himself forward, “You mean how Deddy got his arm cut off?” Alexandro pursed his lips, “Well, you have to ask the one who did that to him”, he said sarcastically. The man with a curly moustache gritted his teeth; he slammed Alexandro’s desk so hard that it was broken in two, “Don’t play with me, Alexandro! You know what happens when you oppose me, right?” Alexandro smirked, “What happens? Oh, I know exactly what happens. Before, you held something really important to me hostage, so I could only bend to your will.”
Alexandro stood up; he glared down on the man with a curly moustache, “No longer, bastard! Be very prepared! You and your accomplices will soon face my wrath!” he threatened, sending out his aura all over the place, thrashing the entire room. The man with a curly moustache flinched; he turned his back before walking away, “I’ll remember this”, he said as he left Alexandro’s room. Alexandro then sat back in his chair, “I’m glad you won’t get to witness me wreaking havoc, my love”, he said while looking upwards.

Tomorrow came; Eru woke up in his room with a splitting headache and body full of sweat. Eru panted hard, “That dream again…..” he muttered. As Eru came out from his blanket, he found that he was now naked, without a single piece of clothing on him. “Hmm? Why the hell am I always naked after drinking?” Eru mumbled. Then, Eru saw a woman was clinging to him inside the blanket. “She looks familiar”, Eru squinted his eyes, “Cina!?” The red-haired woman slowly opened her eyes when she heard her name was being called, “Yeah, what’s up?” she said groggily while rubbing her eyes.
“Why are you on my bed?” Eru asked. “Oh”, Cina’s eyes opened up before letting out a seductive smirk, “What, you don’t like it? A beauty like me waking up naked in your bed is a blessing, right?” Before long, Cina was thrown out by Eru while wearing nothing but a towel, “Get out!” Eru said, kicking Cina out before closing the door. Cina let out a slight chuckle, “Heh, that guy who was wild last night now act like an innocent man.” Inside his room, Eru sighed, shaking his head, “Haah, two times this happens, and I have no recollection of it. I really need to increase my alcohol toleration or never drink alcohol again in my life.”

After Eru put on his clothes, he strapped Buddy to his waist and proceeded to leave his room. When Eru arrived at the pub, the adventurers all glanced at him before either whistling at him or giggling at him. “What? Something funny on my face?” Eru asked. The bartender, the skinny man wearing glasses, Jerome, opened his mouth, “It’s not that, it’s just, how do I say it… It’s been a long time since someone had the guts of sleeping with Cina”, he teased with a slight smirk on his face. Eru’s face reddened, “S-shut up, I’m leaving”, Eru said, flustered. Upon seeing Eru’s reaction, the adventurers let out a hearty laugh.
When Eru arrived at the Adventurers Guild’s lobby, he found that there was a different receptionist behind the counter instead of May. “Oh, good morning, Mr Hero”, the receptionist said with a smile on his face. Eru sighed, “Can you please stop it with all this hero stuff?” he scratched the back of his head. The receptionist grinned, “What can I do for you?” Eru approached the receptionist’s counter, “Any words from the guild master on my missions?” he asked. The receptionist slightly shook his head, “I’m sorry, but there had not been a word from the guild master.”
Eru pursed his lips. Just as Eru was about to reply, a familiar voice greeted him from behind, “Finally up and ready, yeah? Last night was incredible, you know? Maybe we’ll do it again tonight?” Eru rolled his eyes, “You know, having intercourse with someone against his will counted as a criminal act, right?” Cina let out a chuckle, “What do you mean, criminal act? You’re the one that started it first. I remembered your brute-like approach last night,” Cina shuddered, “Makes my heart all flutter.”
Eru shook his head in exasperation. Before Eru managed to rebuke Cina again, a familiar face entered the Adventurers Guild. “Why did you leave me, brother Eru?”
