Inside the bunker in the middle of a forest, a red-haired woman could be seen sitting casually inside a messy bedroom while drinking a bottle of alcohol. Then, a crystal ball on the table in front of her shone, vibrating, shaking the cheap-looking table. The red-haired woman threw the bottle of alcohol from her hand away to the wall before taking the crystal ball in her hand. After that, the crystal ball shines even brighter before revealing an enchanting figure to the red-haired woman. The red-haired woman quickly got on her knees, “Lady Da Ji”, she lowered her head. The figure inside the crystal ball, Da Ji, looked around at the messy room before sighing, “You haven’t changed at all, Zhu Rong.”
The red-haired woman, Zhu Rong, let out an exasperated smile, “Please don’t judge me, Lady Da Ji.” Da Ji chuckled, “Right, right, raise your head” Da Ji put her arms on her hips, “So, how’s progress? Did you attack Sylphid Academy yet?” Zhu Rong raised her head, looking directly at Da Ji’s projection; she nodded, “I did, but the base was found ahead of time by accident, my lady.” Da Ji put her hand on her chin, “If they found it, they found it. So, how’s the attack going? Is the academy destroyed yet?” The red-haired woman shook her head, “Unfortunately not, my lady. Some pesky women from the army, along with reinforcements from the Adventurers Guild, intervene.”
“That’s unfortunate indeed”, Da Ji said. She continued, “Oh well, we can’t do anything about it. Our trump card is still intact, right?” The red-haired woman nodded, “Yes, it is. I did not send it to attack the academy before.” Da Ji nodded, “Good. Make sure you kept pilling pressure towards the academy lest they interfere in our plans back at Sylphid City.” The red-haired woman nodded, “As you wish, my lady.” Da Ji nodded with satisfaction, “Oh, and be careful of Zemel.” The red-haired woman squinted her eyes, “Zemel? What’s wrong with him?”
Da Ji’s expression turned serious, “He betrayed us and left the organization. If you saw Zemel, kill him on the spot”, she said with a sombre tone. Zhu Rong revealed a sinister smile, “Yes, ma’am.” Da Ji let out a satisfied smile before ending her call, dimming the crystal ball. Zhu Rong then picked up another bottle of alcohol emptied it before putting her clothes on. She took her staff before shaking it. The staff turned into a boomerang, and Zhu Rong strapped on her back, “Time to move”, she said while opening the door, revealing two giant green eyes.

“Rargh!” Sydney shouted as she brandished her aura coated blade towards the blonde-haired woman. The latter parried Sydney’s attack quite easily before softly chanting, “Wind.” Then, the blonde-haired woman swung her sword horizontally, causing a blast made of wind that sent Sydney flying back. Sydney quickly got up to her feet, “Again”, she shouted before charging again at the blonde-haired woman. “Haah”, the blonde-haired woman sighed, “When will you learn,” she said while stepping to the side and dodging Sydney’s attack once again. The blonde-haired woman then kicked Sydney, causing the latter to buckle down.
Then, Syndra crouched down; she put her palm on Sydney’s stomach, “Wind”, she softly chanted. Syndra’s spell sent Sydney flying backwards again; however, this time, Syndra’s spell had more power in it. Upon seeing this, Eru swiftly moved and caught Sydney before she flew too far. Sydney grunted, “I-I’m sorry, teacher”, she said while lowering her head. “Did you learn?” Eru gently put Sydney down. Sydney paused for a second before shaking her head, “I’m just not strong enough.” Eru sighed, “What did your father teach you—” Then, Eru looked at the blonde-haired woman, “Since you spar with her, how about I’ll fulfil my end of agreement right now?”
The blonde-haired woman let out a devilish grin, “Finally”, she pointed her sword at Eru, “I’ll gladly face you today.” Eru unsheathed his own black sword, “Take a good look, Sydney. This is how you beat opponents that are much stronger than you”, Eru stated. Then, Eru flared up his raven-coloured aura. But, the suffocating pressure Sydney felt from Eru before did not appear. Instead, Eru’s pressure was now pretty similar to her own. “U-Uhm, teacher?” Sydney tilted her head, but Eru ignored her. The blonde-haired woman furrowed her eyebrows, “What’s the meaning of this? Are you underestimating me?” she said when Eru unleashed his aura.
Eru smiled, “Isn’t this just a spar?” he quipped. The tip of Syndra’s mouth twitched, “I’ll make you use your full power soon”, she said before brandishing her magic-empowered sword towards Eru. “Fire!” the blonde-haired woman chanted loudly as she swiped her sword with her two fingers. Syndra’s sword lit up on fire, then using her flaming sword, she slashed at Eru multiple times. “First up”, Eru spoke while easily evading Syndra’s sword, “When fighting against opponents that are stronger than you, observe their movements closely and try your best to predict their attacks.” The blonde-haired woman kept swinging her sword and swiping her sword with her two fingers, enhancing the magic more.
“Secondly”, after seeing the blonde-haired woman increase her power, Eru jumped backwards out from her range of attacks, “If you feel that your opponents have increased their power, like her”, Eru pointed his fingers at the blonde-haired woman, “If you can, you need to step out of the way. Compose yourself, defend and look for an opening.” The blonde-haired woman clicker her tongue, “Stop underestimating me!” Syndra shouted as she launched herself at Eru in an instant. Eru squinted his eyes; he focused on the blonde-haired woman’s shoulders and feet and dodged her attacks consistently.
“I’m sure your father had taught you this already, but never look your opponents right in their eyes. Eyes can be deceiving, but body languages are hard to fake”, Eru explained while flipping away from the blonde-haired woman. “Stop dodging”, Syndra said while swiping her two fingers on her sword, “Lightning”, she softly chanted. Then, using her lightning-enchanted sword, Syndra began to swing her sword around, attacking Eru from a distance with her lightning slash. “Thrid point”, Eru lowered his posture, “Don’t fight in your opponents’ preferred distance. In this case—” Eru instantly disappeared from the spot and reappeared right in front of Syndra, “Get close to the opponent quickly.”
The blonde-haired woman let out a grin, “Finally, you’re here.” Then, Syndra quickly dispelled the lightning enhancement from her sword and replaced it with something else. “Ice”, Syndra softly chanted. Eru clicked his tongue, “Fourth”, he said while blocking Syndra’s slash using his own black sword, “Don’t get caught in your opponents’ pace. Try pulling them at your own pace. But if you get caught like me”, Eru said while parrying the blonde-haired woman’s icy attacks. Then, Eru moved his sword-holding hand and slashed at the blonde-haired woman, “Try and outpace your opponents.”
The blonde-haired woman grunted while struggling to fend off Eru’s attack. “Most people will not expect that you will match their pace, even more so when you outpace them”, Eru said while nimbly moving his sword against Syndra’s ice enchanted sword. “However, that alone will not allow you to win”, Eru said as he withdrew his attacks, “Instead, use that momentum from earlier to escape from your opponents.” After saying that, Eru took a huge step back from Syndra. “Do you get it, Sydney?” Eru looked at his pupil that was watching him with a dumbfounded expression. Sydney woke up from her stupor before nodding, “I somewhat get it, teacher” she slightly tilted her head, “But, how will you win?”
Eru smiled at Sydney, “And lastly”, Eru shifted his attention towards the advancing Syndra, “To win against opponents that are stronger than you, don’t exert your full power when fighting against them. Conserved it into one single attack.” Then, Eru lowered his stance, gripping Buddy with two hands; Eru pointed the black sword towards the rushing Syndra. “Haa!” Syndra let out a battle cry as her sword now glistened with several different colours. “Die!” Syndra shouted while swinging her magic-enchanted sword downwards. Eru’s eyes sparkled suddenly; he crouched forward, avoiding Syndra’s slash before delivering a devastating pommel bash at Syndra’s torso.
The blonde-haired woman buckled down; her knees touched the ground before vomiting. Eru looked at Sydney with a wide smile on his face, “And that is that”, Eru said while sheathing the black sword back to its scabbard. Sydney watched her teacher in awe as stars were glistening in her eyes, “As expected of teacher”, she muttered softly with a happy expression on her face.

Silvan Kingdom, Sylphid City.
A woman and a bald man were seen running in a dark alleyway. “Hah, hah, hah, hah, hah,” they panted hard. “How about we rest for a while?” the bald man suggested to the woman, but the latter shook her head, “No. We can’t afford to rest here. If we don’t hurry up, those guys will find us.” However, just as the words left the woman’s mouth, she saw a knife thrown towards her, which the bald man blocked using his sabre. “Tch, these guys just won’t give up!” the bald man moved in front of the woman with a sabre in his hand. The woman and the bald man saw four men dressed in complete black appear in front of them.
“You guys had run far enough. Time to face your maker”, said one of the men dressed in black. “Hah”, the bald man scoffed, “Try it if you can.” The woman took out her wand, “I’ll help you.” The four men dressed in black let out a mocking laugh, “Tonight, both of you die here”, they all said in unison. But, just as the four men dressed in black were about to attack, a terrifying pressure hit them, causing their knees to slightly buckle. “Who dares!” barked one of the men dressed in black. Then, a figure fell down from the sky, separating the woman and the bald man from the four men dressed in black.
