“W-what the hell?” the armoured woman exclaimed while trying her best to regain her balance. Not long after, the armoured woman, the blue-haired girl, the two burly soldiers, Sydney and Cina, heard a loud, otherworldy roar from the east direction. Immediately after that, a wisp of red-coloured energy could be seen flying around them.
“This is—” Sydney watched the red energy fly across her. Then, suddenly an immense pressure washed over her and the others, making them kneel down. The pressure got so intense that Syndra, Sydney, Cina, Amy and the two burly soldiers planted to the ground. They were all about to pass out when suddenly, the pressure was all gone. “Tch”, a familiar voice could be heard while clicking his tongue, “That bastard is losing it again.” The armoured woman slowly raised her head, “Eru? What are you doing here? Aren’t you fighting against a strong enemy?” she asked weakly.
Eru smiled before shaking his head, “Nah, that guy was pretty weak. The group could defeat it eventually even without my help.” Then, Eru looked around before asking the armoured woman, “So, what the hell happened here?” The armoured woman was about to reply, but she was interrupted by a sudden powerful roar. Eru’s expression turned ugly as he furrowed his eyebrows. Eru helped the armoured woman get to her feet before saying, “Abort mission. Immediately escape the bunker and return to the academy, or else you will all die.”
The armoured woman frowned, squinting her eyes; she looked at Eru, “Do you know what the hell is happening right now?” After that, another powerful roar resounded on the whole floor. “There is no time”, Eru said while shoving the armoured woman, “Just go, escape, hurry!” Seeing the serious look on Eru’s face, the armoured woman nodded before taking the others away. After Eru watched the armoured woman and the others leave the place, Eru slightly raised his head, “Now, what should we do about this.” Eru shook his head, “I better hurry up.”

A few minutes earlier, the armoured woman and her team were moving slowly and carefully, combing through the floor with maximum awareness. However, there was one person who was lax and looking around with curiosity. That person was, of course, Long. Long just strolled along with the armoured woman and the others. He enjoyed looking around the place as he did not have a sense of awareness, unlike the armoured woman and the others who took this seriously. The armoured woman suddenly furrowed her eyebrows, stopping all of a sudden while slightly lowering her posture. “What’s wrong, commander?” the burly soldier asked with a frown.
The armoured woman slightly tilted her head upwards, “Shh”, she put her finger on her lips, “I felt the ground vibrated. I think something is coming at us”, she said sombrely. The burly soldier immediately lowered his posture also, followed by Cina. Long, however, only looks interested in what’s going on. Cina looked at Long sceptically, “What are you doing?” she questioned Long. “I’m just standing”, Long quipped as his lips slowly curled up into a smile. “Ready your weapon!” immediately after Long said that the armoured woman shouted out loud. Then, a humanoid creature appeared before them, staring at the armoured woman and her party with murderous, red eyes.
The humanoid creature stood several feet taller than the armoured woman and her party. It had terrifying red eyes, sunken cheekbones, and its body was thin, like a skinny human who hadn’t eaten for days. Its red eyes radiated strong energy, pressuring even the likes of the armoured woman. The humanoid creature slowly opened its mouth, “Who among you is the strongest here?” the humanoid creature spoke while lowering its body, staring at the armoured woman and her party one by one. The armoured woman stepped backwards, “Be careful with this one; something is not normal with this guy”, she warned her party. The humanoid creature then smiled sinisterly before suddenly smacking the armoured woman to the side.
“Urgh”, Syndra grunted while rolling on the floor. Thankfully for her, the armoured woman managed to react in time, blocking the humanoid creature’s strike. “Commander!” the burly soldier shouted, “You’ll pay for that!” he charged at the humanoid creature with his sword and shield at hand. “Don’t!” Cina shouted, trying to stop the burly soldier, but it was all too late. The burly soldier easily got sent flying by the humanoid creature. “Weakling”, the humanoid creature snorted while cleaning its hand. “Is there one among you that is not a weakling?” the humanoid creature glared at Cina and Long.
“Damn you!” Cina let out a battle cry as she too charged at the humanoid creature. “Another weakling”, the humanoid creature pursed its lips. It kicked Cina by her torso, sending her flying to the armoured woman and the burly creature. “Only you are left”, the humanoid creature stared at Long with its menacing red eyes. Long only looked at the humanoid creature with an amused smile, “Don’t be proud just because you took out a few weaklings.” The armoured woman, the only one that was still conscious, immediately shouted, “Get away from here! Regroup with Eru’s party before facing this guy!” Then, the armoured woman struggled to get up. She barely lifted her arms, “I’ll try to hold this guy back.”
The humanoid creature and Long looked at the armoured woman at the same time, “Don’t interrupt us”, they said in unison. Then, the humanoid creature grinned, “Why don’t we go somewhere else? It’s quite noisy here with all these weakling around.” Long also had a wide grin on his face, “Sure. Please, lead the way.” The humanoid creature slightly nodded, “Come with me”, it said. Long followed the humanoid creature while the armoured woman watched all of these with a flabbergasted expression. However, just before Long left with the humanoid creature, he threw three small, green bottles at the armoured woman.

The humanoid creature led Long into a huge room, and inside it, there was a big, empty space. “Why do you lead me here?” Long looked around his surroundings, “Walking here is a waste of time”, he grumbled. The humanoid creature turned its body towards Long, “This room is different” the humanoid creature spreads its arms, “Here, we can fight with all we’ve got and not destroy the building. After all, mistress Zhu Rong will be really mad if we destroy this place.”
“So your boss name is Zhu Rong, huh. Two syllables name, is she from Gale?” Long pondered loudly. The humanoid creature lowered its posture, “That’s enough speaking about mistress Zhu Rong. Let us get into our fight.” Long chuckled, “Itching to get into a fight, aren’t we?” Long brandished his iconic, red staff, “Come, I hope you’re able to at least entertain me”, Long taunted. “I will make you beg for your death!” the humanoid creature said while running towards Long with its long limbs.
As it got closer, Long stabbed his red staff into the ground, “Fire Blast”, he softly chanted. Fire burst through from the ground, hitting the humanoid creature straight at its body. However, the humanoid creature just bushed off Long’s spell, and it managed to get close to Long. “Hah, a spell like that would not be enough to hurt me”, the humanoid creature said while prepping its hand for a punch. “Hah”, Long snorted. He quickly moved from his position and appeared up high with a single leap, “How about this, then” Long brandished his red staff, hitting the humanoid creature straight at its jaw.
Long’s strike with his red staff was proven quite effective as the humanoid creature stumbled backwards. The humanoid creature managed to regain its balance before letting out a smile towards Long, “Not bad, not bad at all. And here I thought you were just another weakling with guts. That strike actually hurts me”, it said while rubbing its chin. “And here I thought you were more than just a bragger”, Long quipped, “Taking a single hit from me and being sent backwards? Hah, what a weakling”, he taunted. The humanoid creature’s face twitched, “You’ve got quite a mouth, don’t you, human?”
“I’ll say the same thing to you, failure”, Long continued to taunt the humanoid creature. “Ha, ha, ha”, the humanoid creature laughed in anger, “You, a human, calling me a failure? Surely you jest. I’m more than you, puny humans. I’m stronger, faster, better than you. What part of me is a failure?” Long smirked, “Every part of you is a failure”, he further taunted the humanoid creature, “You are created by a human and bossed by a human, and yet, you claimed you are better than them? Hah, what a joke. I guess failure will always be a failure, huh?” The humanoid creature finally could not hold its anger no longer, “You lowly creature! I’ll tear you apart!”
The humanoid creature roared before charging at Long like a madman. Long twirled his staff on his hand, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. The failure got a temper.”
