The humanoid creature led Long into a huge room, and inside it, there was a big, empty space. “Why do you lead me here?” Long looked around his surroundings, “Walking here is a waste of time”, he grumbled. The humanoid creature turned its body towards Long, “This room is different” the humanoid creature spreads its arms, “Here, we can fight with all we’ve got and not destroy the building. After all, mistress Zhu Rong will be really mad if we destroy this place.”
“So your boss name is Zhu Rong, huh. Two syllables name, is she from Gale?” Long pondered loudly. The humanoid creature lowered its posture, “That’s enough speaking about mistress Zhu Rong. Let us get into our fight.” Long chuckled, “Itching to get into a fight, aren’t we?” Long brandished his iconic, red staff, “Come, I hope you’re able to at least entertain me”, Long taunted. “I will make you beg for your death!” the humanoid creature said while running towards Long with its long limbs.
As it got closer, Long stabbed his red staff into the ground, “Fire Blast”, he softly chanted. Fire burst through from the ground, hitting the humanoid creature straight at its body. However, the humanoid creature just bushed off Long’s spell, and it managed to get close to Long. “Hah, a spell like that would not be enough to hurt me”, the humanoid creature said while prepping its hand for a punch. “Hah”, Long snorted. He quickly moved from his position and appeared up high with a single leap, “How about this, then” Long brandished his red staff, hitting the humanoid creature straight at its jaw.
Long’s strike with his red staff was proven quite effective as the humanoid creature stumbled backwards. The humanoid creature managed to regain its balance before letting out a smile towards Long, “Not bad, not bad at all. And here I thought you were just another weakling with guts. That strike actually hurts me”, it said while rubbing its chin. “And here I thought you were more than just a bragger”, Long quipped, “Taking a single hit from me and being sent backwards? Hah, what a weakling”, he taunted. The humanoid creature’s face twitched, “You’ve got quite a mouth, don’t you, human?”
“I’ll say the same thing to you, failure”, Long continued to taunt the humanoid creature. “Ha, ha, ha”, the humanoid creature laughed in anger, “You, a human, calling me a failure? Surely you jest. I’m more than you, puny humans. I’m stronger, faster, better than you. What part of me is a failure?” Long smirked, “Every part of you is a failure”, he further taunted the humanoid creature, “You are created by a human and bossed by a human, and yet, you claimed you are better than them? Hah, what a joke. I guess failure will always be a failure, huh?” The humanoid creature finally could not hold its anger no longer, “You lowly creature! I’ll tear you apart!”
The humanoid creature roared before charging at Long like a madman. Long twirled his staff on his hand, “Tsk, tsk, tsk. The failure got a temper.” Long’s statement made the humanoid creature even more angry, “You bastard!” it flung its arms around, attacking Long in a frenzy. “That’s more like it”, he said while dodging the humanoid creature’s attacks easily, “Use all your strength. But, I don’t think it will make a difference, since you are a failure anyway”, Long provoked. “Rargh!” the humanoid creature let out an unnatural scream towards Long.
The rage in the humanoid creature’s eyes was so great that it lost all of its reason as it went berserk, attacking Long continuously. “Hahaha”, Long let out a mocking laugh, “Come one, come on, come on” Long jumped around while avoiding the humanoid creature’s large, thin hands. The now berserk humanoid creature kept relentlessly attacking Long, while the latter just either avoided its blows or parried its attacks. Long did not even bother on counter-attacking as he was having fun jumping around the humanoid creature.
This continued on for a while until Long felt bored dodging all the humanoid creature’s attacks. “This bore me”, Long said with scorn, “If this is all you’ve got, then you really are a failure.” The humanoid creature raged even more, “Why won’t you just die!” the humanoid creature screams its lung out, raging and venting its frustration. “Is this all you can do? Screaming and yelling about the same thing?” Long said while avoiding one of the humanoid creature’s attacks and striking the humanoid creature in the back of its knee. Then, Long held his red staff with two hands, “It has been fun, goodbye, failure. Die!” Long shouted as he swung his red staff hard at the humanoid creature’s head.
Long’s red staff bashed the humanoid creature’s head, turning it into mush. The humanoid creature’s body fell down to the ground hard, causing a small quake. Long twirled his red staff, cleaning it from the humanoid creature’s blood, “Filthy failure”, he scoffed before turning his body. Long tried to leave the oval room, but suddenly he felt a strong pressure from where the humanoid creature dead body was. Long looked back casually, and he furrowed his eyebrows. “Hah”, Long scoffed with a wide grin, “This will be interesting.”
The humanoid creature slowly stood back up without a head. Then, a spiral of flesh formed in the place of the humanoid creature’s head, forming it into a lizard’s head. “Hahahaha!” the lizard-head humanoid creature let out a sinister laugh, “I did not expect that my special power would be triggered.” Then, the lizard-head humanoid creature looked at Long with a wide grin, “You will regret toying with me earlier”, the lizard-head humanoid creature roared before charging right at Long. The latter frowned, but when he found that the lizard-head humanoid creature strength did not really increase, Long sighed while shaking his head, “You never learn, do you?”
Long tried to dodge the lizard-head humanoid creature’s attack, but the latter immediately held its fist back before stepping backwards. The lizard-head humanoid let out a devastating roar, and the shockwave from its roar managed to drive Long slightly backwards. The lizard-head humanoid creature’s power rose, making the entire room shake. Then, a pair of giant wings spurted from the lizard-head humanoid creature’s back before its humanoid skin turned scaly. “Yes, yes”, the lizard-head humanoid creature observed its own body, “The power planted by the master is finally going to show itself.”
The lizard-head humanoid creature raised its head, “Hahahahaha”, it laughed with extreme joy, “This is it. This is what I signed for. I threw away my life, my friends, my family for this.” After the lizard-head humanoid creature said that, its whole, scaly body turned red, resembling its head. Long watched all of this with interest as a small smile crept up from his lips. “Sorry to keep you waiting”, the lizard-head humanoid creature said after finishing its transformation, “I have to thank you. Because of you, the seed of power given to me by the master so long ago finally awakened.” Then, the lizard-head humanoid creature disappeared from its spot before reappearing instantly in front of Long.
“To make it up to you, I will make you suffer before I kill you”, it said as a large, reptile tail spurted from its tailbone before hitting Long with it. Long managed to put up his guard in time, preventing the large reptile tail from hitting his vital spot. Long crashed through the wall, making the lizard-head humanoid creature laugh with pleasure, “Hahahaha. How weak”, it scorned with its hoarse voice, “Now you see the true power of I, the power that the master gave to me.” Long managed to step out from the rubble, watching the lizard-head humanoid creature finish its sentence, “The power of a red dragon!”
“What!?” Long furrowed his eyebrows. The lizard-head humanoid creature’s words managed to trigger something inside of Long. “Hahahaha”, the lizard-head humanoid creature continued its maniacal laughter, “Are you afraid now, human? You seemed strong before, but you look like a weak ant to my eyes now. With a single step from me, you will die. Fear the power of a red dragon, weakling”, it boasted with its head held high. “Huhuhuhu”, Long held his stomach, “Hahahahaha!” The lizard-head humanoid creature squinted its eyes, “Are you finally going crazy, human? Don’t worry, soon I will end your life. Before that, you must suffer from the same humiliation you gave me before.”
“Hahahaha!” Long continued to laugh before staring at the lizard-head humanoid creature right in its eyes. “You think that is the power of a red dragon? Hahahaha”, Long threw his red staff to the side. Then, Long’s expression contorted into anger, “You think that is the power of a red dragon? You’re delusional, trash.” The lizard-head humanoid creature scoffed, “Hah, a rambling of a dead human would not affect me.” Long looked at the lizard-head humanoid creature with disgust, “A trash like you are not worthy of calling yourself a dragon.”The lizard-head humanoid creature finally could not hold its anger, “I’ll kill you where you stand. Die!”
