Back inside the bunker’s second underground floor, while the armoured woman, her soldiers and the adventurers were facing the army of monstrous creatures, Long finally woke up from his slumber. He felt his whole body and found that after resting, he feels a lot better. Long exited the wooden tent, and he found Eru was cooking another meat skewers beside the campfire. “Good morning, sleeping prince”, Eru smirked, “Want some meat?” Long sat on a nearby log, “Sure”, he said while taking a cooked meat skewer, “How long did I sleep?” Eru furrowed his eyebrows, “I don’t know, maybe a few hours?” Long lowered his head, “A few hours….” Eru patted Long on his back, “Every living being in this world needs rest. Don’t dwell too much on it.”
Long flashed a smile. Then, he looked around, finding the surroundings around him had changed somewhat. Eru smiled wryly, “Oh, you noticed them? I’ve got to get better in dealing with the aftermath.” Long frowned, “What happened while I was out?” he asked. Eru waved his hand, “Oh, nothing major. Just some uncultured swine decided to barge in”, Eru said nonchalantly. “You mean that ghoulish-looking undead?” Long asked. Eru nodded, “Yeah, those”, Eru answered while flipping the meat skewer. “Those?” Long pondered, “How many?” Eru shrugged his shoulders, “I don’t know, a few dozen maybe? I did not count since I took care of them quickly.”
“Oh, and I think I found how we would get down to the lower levels”, Eru added after taking a bite from the meat skewer in his hand. “You did, brother Eru? Can you tell me where?” Long inquired. Eru pointed at the corpse of the giant plant-like monstrous creature that was now buried under a few large logs, “Under there”, Eru replied, “There is a big hole underneath that thing.” Long immediately get up, “Then, what are we waiting for? Let’s hurry up and leave this place.” Eru shook his head, “Let me rest for a while. Besides, what about the meat skewers I’m cooking right now?” Long looked at the meat skewers and could not help but salivate, “Okay, after we finish eating, then we’ll leave.”
Eru let out a chuckle, and after a while, Eru and Long finished eating the meat skewers. “Phew, that was good” Eru rubbed his belly before checking his equipment. “You ready, Long?” Eru said while zipping his pouch. Long nodded, “I am”, he said. “Then, let us move this thing around” Eru and Long approached the corpse of the giant plant-like monstrous creature. “Oh, and a word of warning”, Eru said after both he and Long revealed the hole beneath the giant plant-like monstrous creature, “Those ghoulish bastards will probably come out from there.”
Right after Eru said that, both Eru and Long watched as several ghoulish monstrous creatures jumped up from the hole. “Get ready!” Eru shouted while unsheathing his black sword. “Don’t overexert yourself, Long”, Eru jumped high in the air before smacking the ghoulish monstrous creature down to the hole. “For these chumps? Never”, Long followed suit; he also jumped. And together, both Eru and Long fought the remaining ghoulish monstrous creatures in the air while they descended the hole below.

The red-haired woman yawned while sitting on her favourite chair. “Have the two of them passed the second floor yet?” the red-haired woman asked the humanoid monstrous creatures in the surveillance room while sitting leisurely on her chair. “Reporting, ma’am. No, they haven’t passed the second floor.” The red-haired woman furrowed her eyebrows, “Don’t tell me that they died in there?” she mumbled with a hint of disappointment in her voice. “It can’t be, ma’am”, said one of the humanoid monstrous creatures, “The plant life crystal had been destroyed. They must have rest up on the second floor.”
The red-haired woman rubbed her chin, “You make a good point.” Then, the red-haired woman slammed the wall behind her with her fist, “How long did they plan on resting there? Don’t they know that it’s boring down here? Bring me some entertainment, damn it!” The red-haired woman’s fist made the wall shake violently as the surveillance room slightly crumbled down. The humanoid monstrous creatures that were in the room all lowered their heads, afraid that the red-haired woman’s fury would be directed towards them. Then, the red-haired woman clicked her tongue in annoyance, “Immediately order the guys on the third floor to attack the intruders on the second floor. Tell them that the plant is already dead.”
All the humanoid monstrous creatures replied in unison, “Yes, ma’am.” The red-haired woman shook her head, “Not all of you, just one will do”, she sighed in exasperation. Then, the red-haired woman leaned back on her chair, “Fucking useless creature”, she mumbled. However, the red-haired woman’s mumbled could be heard by the humanoid monstrous creatures there as their body shivered with fear. One of the humanoid monstrous creatures that were inside the surveillance room sent out the red-haired woman’s order to the boss of the third floor.
The boss of the third floor, being shrouded in shadows, nodded. Its eyes lit up, and it immediately ordered its subordinates to attack the second floor. However, once its subordinates climbed up to the second floor, they found that the entire second floor was empty. The boss of the third floor’s subordinates immediately contacted it and informed the situation. Then, the boss of the third floor walked out from the shadows, revealing itself to be a floating skeleton, wearing a sinister black and purple cloak. The black-cloaked, floating skeleton’s eyes glowed red before it went back to the shadows.

Meanwhile, Eru and Long continued their descent to the bottom of the hole while fending off the attacks from the ghoulish monstrous creatures in the process. “These bastards are endless”, Eru said while brandishing his black sword through a ghoulish monstrous creature. “Tell me about it”, Long said; he grabbed one of the ghoulish monstrous creatures by its head and threw it to another ghoulish monstrous creature. After falling for a couple of minutes, Eru and Long finally saw the bottom of the hole. Upon seeing a lot of ghoulish monstrous creatures in the bottom of the hole, Eru shouted, “Prepare yourself for a rough landing, Long.”
“You don’t have to tell me” Long let out a smirk before he dived down. Long’s whole body was surrounded by fire as he directly dive-bombed to the horde of ghoulish monstrous creatures. The fire around Long’s body spread, burning many ghoulish monstrous creatures, creating a safe landing for Eru. “Hah”, Eru’s lips slightly curled up into a small smile, “Thanks.” As soon as Eru said that, his body landed perfectly on the ground, creating a small crater underneath. Then, Eru and Long observed their surroundings, finding that they were surrounded by monstrous creatures of different variants.
“The floor of the undead, huh” Eru furrowed his eyebrows as he saw many different types of undead monstrous creatures surrounding him and Long. Long scoffed, “They would all soon be turned to ash by me”, he said with a hint of arrogance. “Don’t let your guard down. Undeads are a pain to deal with”, Eru warned. “Don’t worry, brother Eru. I have several experiences in dealing with undead”, Long said nonchalantly. After that, Long rushed in alone towards the horde of undead monstrous creatures. Eru shook his head, “That fucking hot-headed red dragon” he sighed in exasperation before following Long behind his back.
Eru and Long began fighting the horde of undead monstrous creatures. With Eru and Long working together, the horde of undead monstrous creatures did not stand a chance against them. Eru and Long decimated the horde of undead monstrous creatures until finally, there were only two undead monstrous creatures left standing. One of them was a giant skeleton monstrous creature, and the other one was a zombie-like monstrous creature. Long pointed his iconic red staff towards the two undead monstrous creatures, “You two are the only ones left.”
Just as Long was about to attack the two remaining undead monstrous creatures, the giant skeleton monstrous creature and the zombie-like monstrous creature combined into one. The combination of the skeleton monstrous creature and the zombie-like monstrous creature created a giant ghoulish monstrous creature. The giant ghoulish monstrous creature dug out its own flesh before taking out a long blade made of bone. Long watched all of this with interest, and his eyes gleamed with excitement. The red dragon’s battle spirit inside of Long was triggered when he sensed that the giant ghoulish monstrous creature was vastly stronger than the other undead monstrous creatures.
Eru was about to brandish his black sword, but Long stopped him, “This one is mine. Leave this guy to me, brother Eru.” Eru chuckled, “Fine, have it your way.” Then, Eru turned his back, “I’m going to explore this place. Maybe find out where the way down is.” After saying that, Eru left Long alone with the giant ghoulish monstrous creature. Long nodded in gratitude before looking the giant ghoulish monstrous creature right in its eyes, “It’s just you and me now.” The giant ghoulish monstrous creature roared; it charged towards Long while brandishing its large bone blade.
