Chapter 193: Chapter 193
“Now, what do you want to ask?” Principal Helga asked with a smile. Eru’s wariness did not disappear, and unknowingly, he already took the teacup from the table as he sipped the tea slowly. After sipping his tea, Eru gently put down the teacup before taking a deep breath, “Who are you? And don’t say just say you are Principal Helga.” Principal Helga smiled gently while slightly tilting her head, “Hmm? What do you mean? I’m the one and only Principal Helga, nothing less.” Eru scoffed, “From what you’re saying, there’s something more to you than it seems, right?”
“You are right”, Principal Helga replied before particles of light surrounded her. Right after the particles of light disappeared, Principal Helga’s previous old appearance changed into a beautiful woman with silver hair. “I am more than it seemed. Let me introduce myself again; my name is Aelgh, one of the children of the Demon King. Nice to meet you, Fate Master” Principal Helga, no, Aelgh introduced herself. “The Demon King?” Eru’s eyes widened in surprise. Aelgh nodded, “Yes. I’m sure you have already met my father before. And I apologize for any harm he inflicted you” she slightly bowed her head.
“So you are related to Willa, then?” Eru inquired. “I am. Willa is our big sister, the most powerful one among us all and the only one spared from our ill-fated state”, Aelgh said with a hint of reminiscent. “Hmm”, Eru rubbed his chin, “Why did you bring me here? And how did you know I’m a Fate Master?” Eru asked while pondering. Aelgh took a sip from her teacup before answering, “My father told me. We, as the administrator of the trials ground, can communicate with each other. He informed me previously that he had met the last of Fate Master and that Fate Master would sooner or later come to my territory.”
“The last of Fate Master?” Eru furrowed his eyebrows.
“I’m guessing that my father did not tell you, then”, Aelgh sighed, “All right, let me tell you a story about Fate Master and how it came to be.” After that, Aelgh stood up abruptly, “But, before I do that, why don’t we eat something first? My stomach finds itself rumbling”, she said. “O-oh, sure”, Eru said, nearly speechless. After that, Aelgh prepared two simple meals for herself and Eru. “Here you go”, Eru received a plate of a sandwich by Aelgh. Eru looked down on the plate of food, then he looked at Aelgh, who happily munched on her sandwich.
Eru did not know what to say as he watched the previous, elegant, and beautiful Aelgh was now eating a sandwich like a starved ghost. “Now, where was I?” Aelgh asked after finishing her sandwich. “About Fate Master and how it came to be”, Eru reminded. “Oh, yeah. I was about to tell you about Fate Master and its origin”, Aelgh rubbed her chin, “To be honest with you, I don’t really know too. I guess you and me are in the dark about it”, she said with a smile and a slightly tilted head. Eru gawked; he was speechless, ‘What the hell is up with this chick?’ Eru thought to himself.
“But what I do know is that you’re not using much of the power of the Fate Master, right?” Aelgh said with a confident smile. “H-how did you—” Eru furrowed his eyebrows, taken aback by what Aelgh had said. “Of course, I know. I can see an abundance of Fate Energy hovering around you, dense but unused”, Aelgh explained, “Is it because of what my father said?” she inquired. “Maybe”, Eru said, “I just don’t want to rely on a borrowed power.” Aelgh rubbed her chin while smiling slightly, “I see, I see. You are just like my father, proud to the tee.” Right after that, Aelgh got up from her seat, “If so, follow me.” Eru get up too, “Where are we going?” Aelgh flashed a smile, “We’re going to a place where we can do something about that Fate Energy of yours.”

Eru followed Aelgh through her humble house and outside to her garden. After walking for a while, Eru and Aelgh finally arrived at a huge, grey dome. “Here it is”, Aelgh waved her head, “Please, follow me.” Right after Aelgh said that the door to the grey dome opened. Aelgh walked inside the grey dome before Eru followed her inside. “What is all this?” once Eru was inside, he found himself right inside a room filled with magic circles. “This is where Fate Master used to train their abilities”, Aelgh replied.
“Train?” Eru slightly tilted his head. Aelgh nodded, “Yes. Fate Master used to train in these kinds of rooms to properly master their own unique power.” Then, Aelgh added, “However, since you don’t want to use the privilege that the Fate Master’s helper bestowed upon you, and I take it you want to use your own power instead, in this room, I will teach you how to make that power your own. However, once you do that, the privilege that was given to you as a Fate Master will disappear. So, how about it?” Before Eru was about to reply, Aelgh interrupted him, “Be sure to think it long and hard before you decide on this. You know that privilege is the one that made Fate Master so powerful so quickly, right?”
Eru stared at Aelgh’s eyes with determination, “Even so, I would like to get stronger with my own power. I mean, yeah, getting powerful so quickly is nice and all, but at the same time, it is pointless if it is not your own power. Once that borrowed power is gone, then what? I become powerless and cannot protect those important to me.” Eru took a deep breath before continuing, “I’ve seen those with borrowed power before. The Demon King showed me, and I also personally experience having borrowed power. Once they were taken away, I instantly became nobody again. So that’s why, please teach me how to do it.”
Aelgh’s smile became even wider, “If you’re so determined, then so be it. Be prepared, though; it will be the toughest challenge you have ever had in your life.” Eru smirked, “Bring it on!”

While Eru was sent flying back by the blonde-haired armoured lady, his eyes gleamed. The raven-coloured protective membrane around Eru burst out as unknown energy enveloped his entire body. Right after that, the raven-coloured protective membrane surrounded Eru once again; however, instead of surrounding Eru like earlier, the raven-coloured protective membrane formed some sort of dragon-like armour around Eru, making his appearance even more dazzling. Eru opened his eyes, and his amber-coloured eyes burst with light while another two raven-coloured wings materialized behind Eru’s back.
“That form—” Long exclaimed as his eyes gleamed with interest. Right after that, Eru flew across the room and in an instant, he appeared right before the blonde-haired armoured lady’s face. “This farce has gone long enough”, Eru spoke; his words were filled with power. “Wha—” the blonde-haired armoured lady was startled; she tried to move away, but Eru’s hand was too fast as he grabbed the blonde-haired armoured lady by her face. Then, Eru dived towards the ground before planting the blonde-haired armoured lady’s face deep inside the ground. After that, Eru stopped the blonde-haired armoured woman and put his hands between her and the skeleton behind her.
Then, with all his strength, Eru tried tearing the two apart with his bare hands. “Argh!” the blonde-haired armoured lady screamed in pain while Eru tore apart the skeleton from her body. And, with a single shout from Eru, the skeleton and the blonde-haired armoured lady was separated as blood spurted from the blonde-haired armoured lady’s joints. Right after that, the blonde-haired armoured lady let out an otherworldly scream full of pain. The skin around the blonde-haired armoured lady melted, and her flesh dissolved right after she was separated from the exoskeleton. “No, no, my flesh, my body, they’re leaving me”, the now skeletoned, blonde-haired armoured lady lamented as she looked at her hands.
Right after that, Eru walked closer to the now skeletoned, blonde-haired armoured lady. “Don’t-don’t come close to me. Stay away, stay away!” the now skeletoned blonde-haired armoured lady yelled, terrified as she retreated slowly. After a while, Eru managed to catch up to the now skeletoned blonde-haired armoured lady. Then, Eru put her palm on the now skeletoned blonde-haired armoured lady’s head, “This has gone long enough, die!” Right after he said that, a golden hue, raven-coloured aura spun on Eru’s palm before it expanded. “No!” the now skeletoned blonde-haired armoured lady screamed as Eru’s golden hue, raven-coloured aura swallowed her up.
The now skeletoned blonde-haired armoured lady wailed until her entire body disintegrated her to pieces. When the now skeletoned blonde-haired armoured lady’s wail stopped, Eru breathed a sigh of relief before he undid his Dragon Force Technique, “That was something”, Eru exclaimed while looking at his own hand.
