“This is bad”, Eru squinted his eyes, “That thing gave me quite a bad feeling” he gripped his black sword tightly. “We need to eliminate it now before it could become a problem”, Long said, “Come, brother Eru!” he shouted before diving down with his red staff glowing red towards the black, humanoid silhouette. “Right”, Eru followed closely behind Long, coating his black sword with his raven-coloured aura. As Long got closer towards the black, humanoid silhouette, Long brandished his mana-imbued red staff, “Die!” he swung down. With a boom, Long red staff was stopped by a brown-skinned humanoid hand.
“Go away for a moment”, the brown-skinned, humanoid figure said before flinging Long away towards Eru easily with one hand. Long crashed towards Eru midair as they both flew quite a far away from there. The brown-skinned, humanoid figure observed his hands, then he began to touch his body and his head before moving to the two horns protruding from his forehead. Right after that, the brown-skinned, humanoid figure waved his hands, and a mirror-like substance emerged from the ground. The brown-skinned humanoid figure could see his long, dark brown hair reaching towards his waist. He touched the corner of his red eyes with his right hand and the mana crystal on his chest with his left hand, “So I look like this, now”, the brown-skinned humanoid figure muttered while observing his appearance now.
Then, while the brown-skinned humanoid figure was distracted, Eru and Long had already recovered their bearings. Long was enraged when he saw the clear figure of the brown-skinned humanoid creature. “You!” Long shouted, “Die!” he flapped his wings, flying with high velocity towards the brown-skinned humanoid figure. “Would you be quiet for a second?” the brown-skinned humanoid creature scratched his head before catching Long’s red staff once again with his bare hand. “Calm down”, the brown-skinned humanoid creature slammed Long down to the ground.
When Long was down, Eru used the moment to attack the brown-skinned humanoid figure. “At least you don’t scream like the other one”, the brown-skinned humanoid figure casually grabbed onto Eru’s black sword. “I would not do that if I were you”, Eru let out a small grin. “Wha—” The brown-skinned humanoid figure raised his eyebrow before he could feel a vibration from Eru’s black sword. “Ah!” he screamed softly as Eru’s black sword managed to slightly injure the brown-skinned humanoid figure. “That’s a good sword”, the brown-skinned humanoid figure praised as the wound in his hand slowly healed.
“Thanks. Please wait for a while” Eru grabbed the injured Long before taking him away. Right after bringing Long to a relatively safe distance, Eru flew towards the brown-skinned humanoid figure. He landed right before the brown-skinned humanoid figure, “I like this side of you better. Before, you could only roar and rampage around. But now, you could speak like a proper human being.” The brown-skinned humanoid figure rubbed his chin, “Before? What do you mean before?” he looked at Eru with confusion. “You don’t remember?” Eru raised his eyebrow with interest.
The brown-skinned humanoid figure suddenly furrowed his eyebrows, “Before we talked, do you mind if I do something first? Ever since I came by, there was an annoying buzzing noise around me.” Eru shrugged his shoulders, “Sure, I’ll wait.” The brown-skinned humanoid figure let out a gentle smile, “Thanks”, he said before he leapt away. When the brown-skinned humanoid figure was in the air, he punched eastward. The brown-skinned humanoid figure’s punch caused an air pressure before something invisible in the air exploded. Eru frowned when he saw this scene, ‘There is something there? How come I did not notice it?’ he thought inside of his head.
After punching the air, the brown-skinned humanoid figure landed right before Eru, “Thank you for waiting. Right, where were we?”

The red-haired woman chuckled when the broadcast in front of her blacked out. “Haha, that guy found out, huh”, the red-haired woman had a wide grin on her face. “W-what shall we do, ma’am?” asked one of the humanoid monstrous creatures that were inside the surveillance room, “I’m afraid he will not listen to our order now that he’s awake.” The red-haired woman’s smile became even wider, “That’s not for you to worry about.” After saying that, the red-haired woman stood up, wearing her black cloak, “I’m stepping out.”
The humanoid monstrous creatures all widen their mouth in surprise, “Y-you’re personally stepping out, ma’am?” one of the humanoid monstrous creatures stutteringly asked. “Any problem?” the red-haired woman glared at the humanoid monstrous creature that asked. The latter immediately shook its head repeatedly, “No, no, no. There is no problem, ma’am”, it said with fear and trepidation. The red-haired woman turned her body before clicking her tongue with disdain, “Stupid monsters”, she murmured. Right after that, the red-haired woman flickered from her spot before disappearing entirely from the surveillance room.
When the red-haired woman’s presence was no longer inside the surveillance room, all the humanoid monstrous creatures heaved a long sigh of relief. “Phew”, one of the humanoid monstrous creatures that commented earlier before sighed, “I thought I’m going to die”, it said while rubbing its chest. “Be thankful that you don’t”, said another one of the humanoid monstrous creatures. “Yeah, that bitch is still so scary after all this time”, another one of the humanoid monstrous creatures chimed in. The humanoid monstrous creatures inside the surveillance hall all nodded their heads simultaneously before going back to their job.

“You mean I was an earth dragon before this?” The brown-skinned humanoid figure slightly tilted his head. “Yes”, Eru nodded, “A very ferocious earth dragon that rampaged everywhere”, he said. “Do you remember how you become like this?” Eru asked. The brown-skinned humanoid figure rubbed his chin, pondering for a moment before answering, “No. All I can remember is that I was injured so bad that my friend suggested doing some surgery on me. Apart from that, I don’t really remember anything. How much time had passed, or how I passed that time was a mystery to me.”
“But, I did not expect that my friend turned me into an earth dragon, though”, the brown-skinned humanoid figure furrowed his eyebrows. Suddenly, both Eru and the brown-skinned humanoid figure felt a huge power emerge from the ground. “How does it feel being back again in the land of the living, Meng Huo?” a red-haired woman wearing a black cloak could be seen flying in the air. Eru frowned, looking at the red-haired woman; he opened his mouth, “Who are you?” he asked. Before the red-haired woman managed to reply, the brown-skinned humanoid figure growled, “Zhu Rong”, he said with a hint of killing intent.
“How are you alive? I am sure I killed you by my own hands”, the brown-skinned humanoid figure, Meng Huo, gritted his teeth. “As you can see, I’m perfectly fine. Alive and well”, the red-haired woman, Zhu Rong, smiled provocatively. “You know this chick?” Eru looked at Meng Huo. “Yes”, Meng Huo answered without averting his gaze on Zhu Rong, “The Red She-Devil, slaughterer of many, monster on the battlefield.” Zhu Rong slightly raised her head while crossing her arms, “To hear that nickname again. How long has it been?” she grinned.
“What are you doing here?” Meng Huo slightly raised his voice. “I’m here to check how you progress. After all, you are one of my precious experiments”, Zhu Rong answered with slightly raised lips. “Experiments?” Meng Huo furrowed his eyebrows. “You still did not get it? Didn’t that young man beside you already tell you what happened? You are an earth dragon before I turn you back into humanoid form. So you should be grateful to me.” Meng Huo lowered his head, “Me, your experiment? You are lying. I entrusted myself to Fredy before; there’s no way—” Before Meng Huo finished his sentence, Zhu Rong took out an old man’s head from behind her black cloak.
“Oh, you mean this old geezer? He did not put up much of a fight. What a shame”, Zhu Rong threw the old man’s head towards Meng Huo’s legs. Meng Huo was in a state of shock as he knelt slowly and touched the old man’s head, “F-Fredy?” he slowly felt the facial features of the old man’s severed head. Tears streamed from Meng Huo’s eyes as his body shivered. “Zhu Rong!” Meng Huo exploded with tremendous power as he leapt towards Zhu Rong, who was flying in the air.
“Ah, ah, ah” Zhu Rong smiled while waving her hand. Suddenly, Meng Huo stopped his motion in the air, “W-what are you doing to me?” he struggled to speak. “Just a soul binding technique”, Zhu Rong smirked at Meng Huo, “You think I came out here without some preparations? Please, you’re more naïve than you used to, Meng Huo.” Meng Huo struggled, “L-let go of me!” he barked. “I will, but—” The red-haired woman waved her hand, and together with the motion of her hand, Meng Huo’s body turned towards Eru. “But you will not be fighting me”, Zhu Rong said with a despicable smile.
