While the armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney were combing the forest above at the third underground floor, looking for the exit, the battle between Long and the red-haired woman was underway. Long nimbly flew around in the sky, attacking the red-haired woman with a mix of long-range and close-range attacks. “You fight rather annoyingly”, the red-haired woman clicked her tongue with annoyance. “Thank you for your praise”, Long smirked before sending out another multiple fireball towards the red-haired woman while flapping his red-coloured wings, flying backwards to keep creating distance from the red-haired woman.
“Stop running away!” the red-haired woman parried all of Long’s fireballs with her bare hands as she chased after Long by stepping in the air. “Who’s running away” Long twirled his red staff, “Fire Blast!” he shouted. After that, a cone made of flames slightly hindered the red-haired woman’s vision. Long made use of that small timing window to get close towards the red-haired woman. Then, Long coated his red staff with his fire mana, brandishing it at the red-haired woman. Long sent the red-haired woman flying back to the ground with his red staff before he followed up by slightly folding his red-coloured wings, chasing towards the falling red-haired woman.
Long was about to thrust the red-haired woman with the tip of his staff, but the red-haired woman stopped it with the sole of her feet. “Nice try”, the red-haired woman let out a small smirk. Then, the red-haired woman kicked Long into the air, flipping herself to an upright position before leaping high. The red-haired woman grabbed Long by his throat before slamming him into a nearby wall. After that, the red-haired woman clenched her fists before punching Long, burying him into the wall.
After pummeling Long for a while, the red-haired woman grabbed Long by his throat once again. Then, the red-haired woman threw Long back towards the ground. The red-haired woman looked down at Long, “You’re weaker than your friend” the red-haired woman scoffed, “Much, much weaker than him.” Then, the red-haired woman dived down from the air, kneeing Long right at his stomach. After that, the red-haired woman picked up Long by his foot, dangling him upside down, “Then, how are you able to defeat my dear experiment, huh?” she glared right at Long’s eyes.
Long spat at the red-haired woman, “Fuck you, bitch” Long cursed. “Hah”, the red-haired woman’s lips slightly curled up into a smile, “You are weak, but I like your attitude.” Then, the red-haired woman punched Long in his stomach. The red-haired woman punched so hard that Long passed out instantly. The red-haired woman carried Long on her shoulder before walking towards the powerless Eru. “Yo, you’re awake?” the red-haired woman crouched down, looking at Eru right in his eyes. “W-what are you trying to do?” Eru asked with a slight stutter.
“Go and rest up”, the red-haired woman smiled, “In the meantime, I’ll bring this friend of yours with me. If you want him back, you know what I mean, right?” the red-haired woman slightly raised her eyebrows. “Tch”, Eru clicked his tongue, “Not like I have any choice.” The red-haired woman’s lips curled up before nodding, “Good. I like dealing with someone reasonable and smart. Recovered your power and face me again. I’ll be waiting at the bottom floor of this place.” Then, after saying that, the red-haired woman flickered before disappearing from her spot. Eru sighed, slamming his fist down on the ground, “Damn it! Not again. Once again, I’m not strong enough.” Eru looked up towards the ceiling, “AAAAAAAAA” he let out a frustrating yell.

After combing through the forest for a while, the armoured woman and her companions finally found the way towards the next floor. “To think that the way forward is hidden in the bark of a tree”, the blue-haired female soldier commented. “This just proves that the enemy might be more capable than we thought”, Sydney chimed in. “They are”, the armoured woman added, “The invasions of those monstrous creatures and the one that was inside here proved to us that we might not be enough for this mission.” Sydney squinted her eyes, “Maybe. But I’m not leaving my teacher alone”, she said.
“What about you, Amy?” the armoured woman asked. The blue-haired female soldier clenched her fist, “I’ll follow you, big sis”, she said. The armoured woman let out a gentle smile, “Okay. Once we go down, there might not be a way back. Are you guys ready?” Sydney clicked her tongue, “The moment we come back inside here, I already felt that there was no coming back.” The blue-haired female soldier just nodded at the armoured woman. Then, the armoured woman opened the door inside the tree bark, “Let us go”, she said as the three of them descent towards the next floor.

Eru struggled to stand up; holding his battered body, he walked towards a nearby wall. Eru rested his back on that wall while at the same time looking up towards the ceiling before letting out a sigh. “How did my life come to this—” Eru lamented softly, “All I wanted to do was just to explore the world and enjoy my life” he let out an exasperated laugh. “I guess fate really played around in my life, huh” Eru clenched his fist hard. Eru chuckled, “This would not happen had I been strong enough. Fate would not mess with me had I been strong enough. People around me would not get hurt if I were strong enough. In the end, everything requires strength.”
After that, the light in Eru’s amber-coloured eyes flashed with determination, “Wait for me, Long”, he muttered, “I’m coming for you soon.” Then, Eru crossed his legs, sitting in a lotus formation; Eru began his meditation.

The armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney finally arrived at the third underground floor of the hidden bunker. “Urgh”, Sydney held her nose, “This smell is so pungent” she furrowed her eyebrows. “I agree”, the blue-haired female soldier nodded in agreement, “It smelled like a rotten chicken in here.” The armoured woman led the duo even further in, “All the more reason we need to hasten our pace.” After that, the armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney explored the third underground floor of the bunker.
“Why are there so many foul things in here?” Sydney squinted her eyes. The armoured woman and the blue-haired female soldier’s expressions became serious, “Be careful. Now I know why this pungent smell felt familiar”, the armoured woman warned. “Familiar? Come to think of it, it does smell familiar”, the blue-haired female soldier furrowed her eyebrows. “Do you remember our mission in Sylphid City’s sewer, Amy?” the armoured woman raised her eyebrows. “Undeads!?” the blue-haired female soldier gasped. The armoured woman nodded, “Yes. And not only that, but the feeling I get from this place right now is eerily similar to the sewer mission.” Sydney’s body tensed up, “There were undead in the sewers?”
The armoured woman nodded, “A few years ago, our team received a mission to investigate the sewers from the higher-ups. Come to think of it, those same higher-ups were the ones that gave us the mission to go towards Sylphid Academy.” The blue-haired female soldier’s expression sour, “You mean—” The armoured woman hummed, “Yes, we are being set up. The higher-ups and this enemy of ours right now are colluding with each other.” The blue-haired female soldier and Sydney gasped at the same time. Then, the blue-haired female soldier looked at the armoured woman’s calm demeanour, “Judging from your attitude, big sis, you already knew of this, huh.”
“Yes”, the armoured woman heavily nodded, “Principal Helga informed me the day we came to Sylphid Academy. Apparently, my husband knew for years of this and did not tell me”, she spoke with a sombre tone. “Big brother Alex knew…” the blue-haired female soldier lowered her head. The armoured woman patted the blue-haired female soldier’s tiny head, “Don’t be so down. Right now, we need to focus on our task at hand.” The blue-haired female soldier raised her little head, and with a beaming smile, she replied, “Yes, ma’am.” After a brief exchange of words between the trio, they continued to traverse their way.
“What the hell is this thing!?” the blue-haired female soldier exclaimed as she saw a corpse of a large, undead monstrous creature. Sydney walked closer towards the large corpse of the undead monstrous creature, slowly touching it with her hand, “This thing is powerful”, she said as she could feel the remains of power from her touch. “So, after defeating the giant monster upstairs, they defeated this giant behemoth”, the armoured woman rubbed her chin, “How strong are they?” she pondered. Then, the armoured woman left the vicinities of the corpse and led the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney into a giant door.
The trio came across a large oval room with stairs right at the opposite end of the room. “Well, this floor is straightforward”, Sydney commented. However, just as the trio walked right into the centre of the room, something barged through the large door. The armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney turned back, “Dear Vaizeu” the blue-haired female soldier exclaimed. “Both of you, get ready!” the armoured woman rallied as she unsheathed her sword.
