The red-haired woman stood inside of her training hall with Long on her shoulder. Before her, three different humanoid monstrous creatures knelt, having their heads lowered while quivering in fear. “Are the necessary preparation done?” the red-haired woman asked. “Y-yes, ma’am. The teleportation magic array is complete. We are ready to transport most of our resources out”, said one of the trembling humanoid, monstrous creatures. “Good”, the red-haired woman smiled. “Go ahead and evacuate our most important resources. Stay silent in our second hideout, and don’t go outside. Wait for me to come over there before making any moves, got it?” the red-haired woman glared at the three kneeling humanoid, monstrous creatures. 

“Yes, ma’am!” the three humanoid, monstrous creatures replied simultaneously. “Then, get the hell out of my sight!” the red-haired woman barked. After watching the three humanoid, monstrous creatures leave, the red-haired woman smiled in anticipation, “Well, raven-haired kid. I shall be waiting for you here. Don’t get too long”, she said while licking her lips.

Eru, the armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier, Sydney and Meng Huo plough through the various monstrous creatures that stood in their way until they eventually arrived at a long corridor. Eru saw that the corridor in front of him had many branches. He turned his head around towards the armoured woman, “Where should we go from here? Should we split into groups?” he asked. The armoured woman shook her head, “No. It is better if we stay together for now. Although it may take us a long time, it will be much more safer for us that way”, she uttered. Eru shrugged his shoulders, “Alright, after you.” 

Then, the armoured woman led Eru and the group into one of the corridor’s many branches. Before they did that, however, Eru spread out his aura, searching for any hostile forces ahead. Eru and his group explored many of the corridor’s branches, finding various different rooms such as the infirmary, the bedroom, the dining room, etc. On their way, Eru and his group met with resistance, but the monstrous creatures’ resistance proved futile to Eru and his group. Eru and his group continued their exploration until, eventually, only one branch left that had not been explored by them. “This is the final place”, the armoured woman said while touching the steel door in front of her, “Are you all ready?” The blue-haired female soldier and Sydney nodded while gulping.

“Open away, Syndra”, Eru said, tightening the grip on his black sword. Meng Huo squinted his eyes, increasing his level of focus. “Alright, I’m opening the door now” the armoured woman opened the steel door, letting Eru and the rest walk inside. Then, the armoured woman followed Eru and the group behind them with wariness. Once they were inside, Eru and his group found themselves in the middle of a large, t-shaped hallway with a giant metal cage door before them and a luxurious door on their left. “Mmm?” The armoured woman slightly raised her eyebrows, “That cage door had your mana signature, senior Meng Huo.” Meng Huo furrowed his eyebrows, “Maybe that’s where I was locked up as an earth dragon.”

“Maybe”, Eru rubbed his chin, “So, we should go left, then?” The blue-haired female soldier shrugged her shoulders, “There’s no other way, no?” Sydney nodded her head repeatedly, “What are we waiting for?” she approached the luxurious door, “Let’s go inside!” she said excitedly. Eru and his group gathered before the luxurious door before the armoured woman opened the luxurious door slowly and carefully. Behind the luxurious door, Eru and his group found themselves in the middle of some sort of training room with a single door before them. 

Suddenly, a red mist appeared before Eru and his group, blocking their vision of the door on the edge of the training room. As the red mist dissipated, a familiar figure of a certain red-haired woman carrying a tied-up Long could be seen by Eru and his group. Eru’s expression turned serious while Meng Huo was glaring at the red-haired woman with hatred. The armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney got close to each other.

“Welcome to my humble abode!” the red-haired woman came out from the red mist while carrying Long on her shoulder. “Hm?” the red-haired woman slightly raised her eyebrows, “You brought your friends with you? Good, more specimens for me.” Then, the red-haired woman’s eyes slightly widened, “Meng Huo? You’re not dead, you old thing?” Meng Huo cracked his knuckles, “I won’t die until you die”, he said while growling. “Come over here, Meng Huo”, the red-haired woman ordered, her ring lit up green. 

Meng Huo walked slowly towards the red-haired woman. Meng Huo’s expression turned ugly as he tried to struggle to resist his body’s movement. “Good”, the red-haired woman’s smile became wider, “Come here, my pet.” Meng Huo bit his mouth so hard that it bled. However, once Meng Huo was near the red-haired woman, he let out a smirk, “Die, Zhu Rong!” he yelled while thrusting his hand towards the red-haired woman’s chest. “What!?” the red-haired woman immediately jumped backwards, avoiding Meng Huo’s strike, but at the same time, dropping the tied-up Long on her shoulder. “Now!” the armoured woman shouted before she alongside the blue-haired female soldier, and Sydney grabbed Long and took him to safety. 

“How did you undo the spell?” the red-haired woman landed on top of a ledge, her eyes lit up with curiosity. “Bring that curiosity to your grave!” Eru’s voice resounded behind the red-haired woman. Eru raised his black sword, swinging it downwards. “Good try”, the red-haired woman’s body flickered from her spot, making Eru’s attack miss its target. The red-haired woman grabbed Eru by his arm, but before she managed to do anything else to Eru, Meng Huo already leapt forward with his wings spread wide, “Die, Zhu Rong!” he yelled. The red-haired woman let go of Eru’s arm, focusing entirely on defending against Meng Huo’s attack, “Do you know any other words, old thing.” Zhu Rong and Meng Huo were locked in the air battle, with neither side having the advantage. 

The armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney watched Meng Huo and Zhu Rong’s exchange with awe. The blue-haired female soldier gulped, “Uhm, do you think we can help senior Meng Huo?” The armoured woman swallowed her spit before shaking her head in helplessness, “I’m afraid not.” Sydney squinted her eyes, “Teacher Eru was right. We could not help even if we tried with our current strength.” The blue-haired female soldier wanted to retort, but she knew all too well that what Eru said before was right. While the trio was in a dilemma, Eru suddenly appeared in front of them. “How is Long?” Eru asked. “He’s just passed out. Give it time, and he will be alright”, the armoured woman replied. 

“Good”, Eru nodded. Then, Eru’s gaze moved from the armoured woman to the blue-haired female soldier before landing on Sydney with a small smile, “See? What did I tell you? That red-haired woman is stronger beyond belief. If I don’t go all out, she will kill me in an instant, and even when I go all out, she could still beat me. If so, how about the three of you?” Eru quipped. “Nevertheless, I appreciate the help”, Eru smiled wider, “Can you please bring Long out of here? He’s in no condition to fight, and with the three of you protecting him, I could rest easy and fight with all I have”, Eru said while looking in the direction of the red-haired woman. 

The armoured woman clenched her fist, biting her lips in frustration; the armoured woman nodded, “Return alive”, she said while raising her fist. “Okay”, Eru bumped his fist with the armoured woman’s before the latter left the area with the blue-haired female soldier. “Good luck, teacher”, Sydney said before following closely behind the armoured woman. After the armoured woman, the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney left the room, Eru shook his head. Then, Eru gripped his black sword tightly, “Ready, Buddy?” The black sword in his hands replied with an intense vibration, showing its desire for battle. “Good”, Eru smiled, “Let’s do this. Eruken, ha!” The red-haired woman blocked Meng Huo’s fist while sensing Eru’s aura was rising. 

“Where are you looking at, Zhu Rong!” Meng Huo clenched his fist. “Hah, you’re not worth looking”, she taunted while blocking another one of Meng Huo’s punches. “You!” Meng Huo growled. Then, Meng Huo started to deliver a barrage of attacks at the red-haired woman with rage in his eyes. While the red-haired woman was busy dealing with Meng Huo, Eru used this time to activate the Dragon Force Technique before sitting cross-legged. Eru focused the fate energy around to empower himself, creating a golden hue around Eru’s raven-coloured protective membrane. After a while, Eru opened his eyes, flickering from his spot and reappearing right before the red-haired woman, “Ready for round two?” Eru smirked as his black sword struck the red-haired woman on her arm.
