A few moments earlier, when Eru had not yet come out from the destroyed underground bunker hidden in the middle of Coast Forest, the armoured woman, which was carrying Sydney on her back and the blue-haired female soldier finally arrived at Sylphid Academy. Upon arriving there, the armoured woman, Sydney and the blue-haired female soldier were greeted by Principal Helga personally with a smile on the latter’s face. “I take it it’s a job well done”, Principal Helga said. The armoured woman nodded, “It is. Although we don’t know yet about Eru since he refused to escape with us as the underground bunker exploded”, the armoured woman said.
Principal Helga furrowed her eyebrows, “Would you mind telling me about it?” she asked. “Sure. But, these two behind me needed some help first”, the armoured woman said while pointing behind her with her thumb. “Oh, how silly of me”, Principal Helga took out her staff from out of nowhere. “Heal”, Principal Helga softly chanted as green mana particles surrounded the armoured woman, Sydney and the blue-haired female soldier. The green mana particles slowly trickled down from the air, touching the armoured woman, Sydney and the blue-haired female soldier’s skin. After a while, Sydney could feel that energy return to her body and the soreness she felt previously was gone.
The blue-haired female soldier felt that her fatigue was lessening, and the visible wounds on her body slowly started to heal themselves. The armoured woman, too, could feel that her exhaustion and her wounds rapidly healed themselves. “Whoa”, the blue-haired female soldier exclaimed, “As expected from you, Principal Helga. Your healing spell works wonder”, she said with sparkly eyes. Sydney jumped out from the armoured woman’s back, “Thank you, Principal”, she bowed in gratitude. The armoured woman looked at the blue-haired female soldier and Sydney before turning to Principal Helga, “Thank you.” Principal Helga waved her hand, “Oh, it’s nothing. So, ready to talk now?”
The armoured woman nodded, “Girls, I’m going to go with the principal for a bit. Go ahead and rest up. You both earn this.” Sydney and the blue-haired female soldier nodded simultaneously before leaving together, leaving the armoured woman and Principal Helga alone. “How about we talk in my office?” Principal Helga offered. “Sure”, the armoured woman said. “Hold tight”, Principal Helga smiled before stabbing her staff on the ground. “What the—” the armoured woman stood confused as light suddenly enveloped her and Principal Helga. A brief second had passed, and the armoured woman found herself sitting on a chair, facing Principal Helga inside of her office.
“T-this—’ The armoured woman’s mouth was wide agape, and she sat dumbfounded by what just happened earlier. “Just a minor teleportation spell. Nothing to be amazed about”, Principal Helga said while calmly sipping on her tea. After that, Principal Helga put down her cup of tea before her gaze turned serious, “So, tell me about the bunker”, she said while leaning forward.

“This is worse than I thought”, Principal Helga leaned into her chair while crossing her arms. “You said the boss of the enemy was a red-haired woman named Zhu Rong, right?” Principal Helga asked with a grim tone. “Yes”, the armoured woman nodded, “You know about her?” Principal Helga slightly furrowed her eyebrows, “Zhu Rong, the Red Devil of the battlefield. One of the trusted generals of Da Ji, one of the leaders of the Demonic Cult. She is strong and difficult to deal with thanks to her unique corrosive flaming aura and her signature weapon, The Wicked Boomerang.” The armoured woman sighed, “Yes, all of that fits her description. Oh, and one other thing, when we were fighting her, Zhu Rong’s entire body was surrounded by blood and every time she was wounded, she could instantly heal herself.”
“Oh?” Principal Helga raised her eyes with interest. “And there are many more monstrosities like those that previously attacked the academy along with many disgusting experiments inside their bunker”, the armoured woman reported. Principal Helga sighed, “So they have indeed made a move, huh. Old man Simbad is not lying”, she softly muttered. “They? The Demonic Cult?” the armoured woman slightly raised her tone. Principal Helga nodded, “Yes. The one that we can’t completely eliminate back then has come and revealed its head once more.”
The armoured woman slightly lowered her head, “What should we do now? Do we tell the government in the capital?” Principal Helga shook her head, “Let me worry about that. For now, we need to recuperate our strength and think of our next move with your husband.” The armoured woman’s expression changed drastically, “Should we move now?” Principal Helga shook her head while smiling, “Don’t be too hasty. For now, go on and rest up. We will wait for those two to come back before we proceed to talk about this.”

While the armoured woman was talking to Principal Helga, Eru, Long, and Meng Huo traversed the Coast Forest leisurely and with ease, resting as they walked. “Hooh”, Meng Huo exclaimed as he observed his surroundings, “The world has not changed much, I see.” Eru smiled, “You said you’re from before the war ended, right?” he asked. “Last I remember, yeah. I was a middle-aged man the last time I woke up”, Meng Huo replied. “How long ago when the war ended, Long?” Eru asked. Long furrowed his eyebrows before shrugging, “I don’t know. Maybe ask Principal Helga about that. I don’t really meddle much with the affair of the mundane world.”
Eru put his hands behind his head, “You’re no fun”, Eru sighed. After that, Eru, Long and Meng Huo continued their small talk while combing through the forest with ease. Eventually, Eru, Long and Meng Huo arrived at the entrance of Sylphid Academy before long. “Phew, we’re finally here”, Eru said with a smile. Then, suddenly, a figure of an old woman appeared in front of the three of them, surrounded by intense light. “Welcome back” as the light dissipated slowly, Principal Helga’s figure cleared up, greeting Eru, Long and Meng Huo with a smile. Principal Helga’s furrowed her eyebrows when she looked at Meng Huo, “I take it you are Meng Huo?” she asked while scrutinizing the humanized earth dragon.
“It’s nice to finally meet you face to face. General Simbad had told me a lot about you”, Meng Huo slightly bowed. “You know that old bastard?” Principal Helga asked with slightly raised eyebrows. “Of course. I served under him back then in the war. I believe we met once before at the banquet in the capital. I was still young back then”, Meng Huo said. Principal Helga rubbed her chin, pondering. “Ah!” a sudden realization hit Principal Helga, “You are that snotty little kid that threw a tantrum with the nobles back then?” she exclaimed. Meng Huo’s face reddened as he scratched the back of his head with embarrassment, “Please don’t bring that up. It’s an embarrassing moment for me.”
“But you don’t look like yourself. What happened? And what is with the wings on your back?” Principal Helga asked. “That would be a long story”, Eru interjected, “We are going to need a more secluded area to talk to.” Principal Helga flashed a smile, “Sure.” After that, Principal Helga raised her hand and summoned her staff before she stabbed it to the ground. Then, dense light surrounded Principal Helga, Eru, Long and Meng Huo, teleporting them directly into Principal Helga’s office. “This place will do, right?” Principal Helga smiled. “Of course”, Eru said before sitting himself on a nearby couch.
Long’s mouth was wide agape before crossing his arms, “Impressive. You managed to force teleport all of us here in just an instant.” Principal Helga gently smiled, “Thank you for the compliment.” Eru smirked, “Ooh, that’s quite rare. Long giving compliments.” Long threw his head to the side, “Oh, shut up.” Principal Helga giggled before her eyes turned serious, “So, Syndra told me the gist of what happened down there, but I wanted to hear it from you directly”, she said while leaning in on her table. After that, Eru told Principal Helga everything that happened inside the destroyed underground bunker except for the acquirement of his black ring, Manusa.
“Beast God physique?” Principal Helga squinted her eyes. “Yes”, Eru nodded, “I faced someone with the Beast God Physique before, and what that red-haired woman had, it was nothing like it. It felt stronger and more annoying to deal with.” Principal Helga rubbed her chin, “Hmm, that is worrying. Previously, what you faced was probably an imperfect Beast God Physique, and what Zhu Rong have is the perfected one.” Eru nodded, “Maybe. And what about that mysterious woman who saved Zhu Rong? You know of her?” Principal Helga nodded, “I do. Her name is Da Ji. One of the leaders of Demonic Cult. A strong vixen, she is.”
Meng Huo’s eyes widened in surprise, “That’s Da Ji? No wonder…” Principal Helga clicked her tongue, “If she’s involved in this, we need to change our plan.” Long crossed his arms, “How so?” Principal Helga grabbed her hands together, “Da Ji has enough power to decimate us on her own. In order to deal with her, we are going to need a special method”, she said with a mysterious tone.
