I’m perfectly capable of doing this on my own”, Meng Huo said with a smile. Then, Meng Huo proceeded to grab the second powered-up black knight’s head with his two hands. “Night night”, Meng Huo grinned before sending fire and ice mana into the head of the second powered-up black knight. The two mana clashed inside the head of the second powered-up black knight, exploding it from inside. “See? I’m perfectly fine”, Meng Huo said while doing a nice guy pose.
“Yeah, yeah”, Eru shook his head while scratching the back of his head. Then, Eru and Meng Huo’s gaze turned towards the hallway. “Huh? What’s a giant door doing here?” Eru exclaimed. “It must’ve appeared when we were fighting those two black knights”, Meng Huo said. “This must be the doings of that man in black”, Eru said while observing the giant door in front of him. “It should be his doing”, Meng Huo said while trying to open up the giant door. “Ugh, no luck. I can’t open it”, Meng Huo grunted. “Even with your dragon-like strength?” Eru furrowed his eyebrows. “Nope. I’m afraid it must’ve been magically enhanced”, Meng Huo said. “Then what should we do? Do we go back and fetch Long and Aelgh?” Eru pondered.
“Of all things, this would happen to us, the two non-magic users of the team”, Eru said while scratching the back of his head with slight frustration. “There is a simpler solution, young master”, Meng Huo said with a small smirk. “Hmm?” Eru turned his attention towards Meng Huo, “What is it? You know how to open this?” Meng Huo nodded, “I do. And it is simple, actually.” Then, Meng Huo approached the giant door slowly before extending his hand. Touching the giant door, Meng Huo smiled before looking at Eru, “You just have to destroy the door”, Meng Huo said. An imaginary light bulb appeared above Eru’s head, “Ah, you are right”, Eru said while nodding.
“Shall I, or do you want the honour, young master?” Meng Huo asked. “No, let me. I’m itching for more after the battle we just had with the two black knights”, Eru said before widening his stance. “Hah”, Eru gathered his strength, focusing his raven-coloured aura on his black sword. “Eruken!” Eru shouted before the power inside of him was doubled, and the strain on his body was also doubled. “Ha!” Eru shouted before delivering a powerful strike at the giant door. With a boom, Eru’s attack hit the giant door. However, as the smoke dissipated, the giant door was only slightly damaged. “Hoh, what a strong door”, Meng Huo exclaimed. “So, I need more power then. Okay, here goes”, Eru said before repeating what he’d done earlier.
“Hah”, Eru gathered his strength, focusing his raven-coloured aura on his black sword. “Eruken!” Eru shouted before the power inside of him was doubled, and the strain on his body was also doubled. “Dragon Force Technique, activate!” Eru yelled out as his raven-coloured aura transformed into a dragon-like armour that gathered around his body. “I’m going all out”, Eru said as he mobilized even the Fate Energy. His raven-coloured aura had a golden hint after that, and Eru pointed his black sword at the giant door. “Destroy!” Eru shouted before swinging his black sword vertically. With a boom, Eru’s powerful slash hit the giant door. Eru turned back to normal after that as he waited for the smoke to dissipate. “As expected from young master Eru”, Meng Huo exclaimed with his mouth agape as he looked at what Eru’s attack had done.
The giant door was thoroughly destroyed, while the rest of Eru’s attack damaged the hallway and even the door at the end of the hallway. “Come on, let us proceed”, Eru said to Meng Huo with a smile. “Right”, Meng Huo nodded as he followed behind Eru.

While Eru, Long, Aelgh and Meng Huo were infiltrating the giant clock tower, the battle outside of the Mayor’s Office was underway. “Come on! Bolster the left flank! What are you guys doing? We are losing the left flank!” shouted one of the commanders from the mayor’s faction with frustration. “Tch, not only the left flank, but we are losing the right flank as well”, the other commander commented. “How? How the hell are they so strong?” said the shouting commander. The other commander gritted his teeth, “How should I know? They are decimating our men here.” The shouting commander growled, “Where are the reinforcements? If this goes on, we will lose sooner or later.”
“Calm down”, a voice suddenly resounded behind the two commanders. Then, a slightly large man with a curly moustache walked forward with a green gauntlet in his right hand. “The situation is still under control. Tell your men to hold on. Honestly, are you the commander, or am I? Why am I calmer than you two?” the slightly large man with a curly moustache said before he shook his head. “Uh, right, Mr Mayor”, the shouting commander nodded. Then, the shouting commander turned his attention toward the battlefield, “Men, rotate formation. You on the left flank, activate Defense Formation A.” The other commander walked forward, “You guys on the right flank, push forward! Bring back the wounded and advance the second row!” he shouted.
The slightly large man with a curly moustache rubbed his chin as he looked at the battlefield in front of him. “Hmph! Just you wait, Alexandro, you bastard. Soon, soon reinforcements will come, and I will send this tiny force of yours to hell”, the slightly large man with a curly moustache said while twirling his moustache.

Alexandro arrived right in front of the hidden barrack. “At least what they said is true. Hearing them and watching them in person is a whole different experience”, Alexandro commented. Duncan, who all this time walked beside Alexandro, furrowed his eyebrows, “Are you sure this is where the Demonic Cult is hiding?” Duncan asked. “I am”, Alexandro nodded, “Although this place looks small, the report said that inside of this place, there is a wide, underground space enough to stash an entire army”, Alexandro said. “Hmm, okay, I trust you, guild master. Sydney”, Duncan called out. “Yes, master?” Sydney slightly bowed.
“Tell the men to get ready”, Duncan said. “Yes, sir”, Sydney said before turning her back. Alexandro was about to stop Sydney but decided not to in the end. Sydney drew her blade. She raised her blade up into the sky, “Men, are you ready for this?” she shouted. “Ou!” Duncan’s personal army replied loudly. Then, Sydney turned towards the hidden bunker before pointing her blade at it, “Everybody, charge!” Sydney yelled. “Oh, wait—” Alexandro wanted to stop Sydney; however, thanks to her speech, Duncan’s men were all charging inside the hidden barrack. Alexandro was taken aback by all of this. “Hah”, Alexandro sighed in exasperation, “Look at what you’ve done” Alexandro glared at Sydney.
Having realized what she’d just done, Sydney scratched her cheek, “Uhm, I am so sorry.” Duncan had his mouth agape, “S-Sydney, what the hell are you doing? Don’t just stand there; go inside with them! They need your help.” Sydney was slightly flustered as she nodded, “Yes, master”, she said before hurriedly chasing after her men. Alexandro massaged his forehead, “I’m sorry. I should’ve stopped her in time”, he sighed. “No, it’s all my fault, guild master. After all, I’m the one that told her to tell the men to get ready” Duncan clicked his tongue. “Well, what’s done is done. At least we’ve made a flashy entrance”, Alexandro smiled wryly. Suddenly, Alexandro and Duncan heard the sounds of battle. “That’s not good”, Duncan furrowed his eyebrows.
“Yeah. Let’s hurry inside”, Alexandro said with a grave tone. Then, Alexandro and Duncan proceeded to run inside the hidden barrack. Once inside, Alexandro and Duncan found Sydney and the rest of Duncan’s men fighting a squad of monstrous humanoid creatures. “Tch, this is the same as last time. Be careful, men! These guys are strong and annoying. Pair up, and don’t ever separate!” Sydney shouted while brandishing his aura-coated blade toward a monstrous humanoid creature beside her. “What the hell—” Duncan exclaimed. “Hah”, Alexandro sighed, “Yeah, I agree with what they said now. Hearing about them is not the same as seeing them with your own eyes”, he said as he watched the monstrous appearance of the enemies.
“Master Duncan, please go to a safe place”, Sydney said as she parried an attack by another humanoid, monstrous creature. “You underestimate me too much, Sydney”, Duncan smirked before his entire demeanour changed. Then, Duncan took out a pair of brass knuckles from his pocket. “It’s been a while, but I, the Solid Rock Duncan, is back in action”, Duncan said after hitting an approaching humanoid, monstrous creature. Duncan flared up his prowess, revealing his cyan-coloured aura. “All men, charge!”
