“What the—” the armoured woman exclaimed as she watched her magic-enhanced sword slowly lose its enhancements, “How can this be? What did you do!?” the armoured woman squinted her eyes. “Thank you for the meal”, the slightly large man with a curly moustache licked his lips after absorbing mana from the armoured woman’s sword with his green gauntlet. “Try and survive this!” the slightly large man with a curly moustache shouted before punching the armoured woman right on her stomach. Fortunately, the armoured woman managed to block the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s punch with her shield. “Syndra!” General Ludwig exclaimed before looking straight right at the slightly large man with a curly moustache.
“And, you”, the slightly large man with a curly moustache pointed his finger at General Ludwig. “You will pay for injuring me earlier”, the slightly large man with a curly moustache said before punching the air. Red-coloured aura immediately surrounded General Ludwig. Then, General Ludwig used his red-coloured aura to create an energy blast on the sole of his feet, propelling him away, dodging the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s punch.
“You are not going anywhere!” the slightly large man with a curly moustache said out loud as he jumped, pursuing General Ludwig. General Ludwig composed himself as he tried to land on the ground. After that, General Ludwig planted his feet before pointing the tip of his trident towards the slightly large man with a curly moustache, “Come”, General Ludwig said while readying up his stance. Gripping the shaft of his trident tight, General Ludwig pushed his trident forward, thrusting towards the slightly large man with a curly moustache. “Die!” at the same time, the slightly large man with a curly moustache barked as he slowly extended his fist to meet with General Ludwig’s trident.
General Ludwig’s trident clashed against the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s right fist that was covered by the green gauntlets. General Ludwig’s red-coloured aura met with the green mana particles that coated the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s fist, creating a small explosion that blasted away the ground around them. “Tch”, General Ludwig clicked his tongue as his body was filled with small wounds. The blast from the explosion caused bleeding on the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s right arm, and he was bleeding profusely at his right shoulder.
“Hah, not good enough, fatty”, General Ludwig said mockingly. “You bastard!” the slightly large man with a curly moustache gritted his teeth in anger. Then, General Ludwig twirled his trident before pointing it toward the slightly large man with a curly moustache, “Is that the only words you know how to say?” General Ludwig taunted. “Fuck you!” the slightly large man with a curly moustache screamed in anger while his eyes glowed green. Then, the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s body was surrounded by thick, green mana particles as veins bulged out from his skin. “What in the—” General Ludwig exclaimed as he watched how thick green mana particles swarmed around the slightly large man with a curly moustache.
“Grr”, the slightly large man with a curly moustache growled before letting out a roar. The slightly large man with a curly moustache’s roar caused a green coloured explosion that blasted the soldiers fighting around him. “Damn it!” General Ludwig said as he leapt backwards. “All forces, retreat, retreat!” shouted the two commanders from the mayor’s forces. The armoured woman had already recovered as she was now standing right beside General Ludwig. “Men, retreat! Get away from the battlefield!” the armoured woman barked, prompting her forces to immediately run away. As both the mayor’s forces and the armoured woman’s forces withdrew, the only people remaining were the enraged, slightly large man with a curly moustache, General Ludwig and the armoured woman.
“Grr… aaaaaaaaa!” the slightly large man with a curly moustache let out an otherworldly scream as the green mana around him became even thicker. “His power continues rising”, the armoured woman squinted her eyes, “At this rate, us two would not be enough to handle him.” General Ludwig smiled confidently, “No, we are enough. Don’t underestimate a former member of the royal army. Although I am considered weak inside the royal army, amongst others, I am strong”, he said, full of confidence. Then, General Ludwig looked at the armoured woman, “You haven’t shown me your full power yet, right? Then, we are both on the same boat. We need to go all out if the bastard’s strength continues rising after this”, General Ludwig said. The armoured woman gripped her sword tightly before nodding, “Right, we are in this together.”
General Ludwig let out a small smile, “But to have more insurance, let me do this first.” General Ludwig took out a small magic crystal from his pocket. Then, General Ludwig whispered something into the small magic crystal before crushing it with his hand. “That is…” the armoured woman furrowed her eyebrows. “Yes, a one-way communication crystal. If things go to plan, we will have a third person here with us”, General Ludwig said. “Good to know”, the armoured woman smiled while nodding her head. Suddenly, General Ludwig and the armoured woman’s expressions turned sombre. They watched as the green mana that swirled around the slightly large man with a curly moustache stopped spinning. After that, the slightly large man with a curly moustache let out his aura.
The slightly large man with a curly moustache’s aura turned green as soon as it came out from his body. After that, the green mana assimilated with the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s aura, combining to make something new. “What the hell? How is that even possible?” the armoured woman frowned. General Ludwig had a grave expression on his face, “Whatever it is, we cannot allow his transformation to go on. We need to end this fast!” The armoured woman nodded in agreement, “Right”, she replied. “After me”, General Ludwig said before rushing toward the slightly large man with a curly moustache while the armoured woman followed closely behind. General Ludwig flared up his red-coloured aura as he used his left toe as a pivot to thrust his trident harder towards the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s stomach.
However, just as General Ludwig’s trident was about to pierce the slightly large man with a curly moustache’s stomach, his trident was bounced back by something invisible. “What the—” General Ludwig exclaimed before looking behind, “Finish it, Syndra!” he shouted. “Yes”, the armoured woman nodded before swiping her fingers on her sword. “Lightning, Fire”, the armoured woman softly chanted. Then, the armoured woman jumped up before brandishing her magic-enhanced sword downwards, “Take this and die!” she shouted. Then, just as the armoured woman’s magic-enhanced sword was about to slice the slightly large man with a curly moustache in two, something invisible prevented the magic-enhanced sword from cutting through and bouncing the armoured woman away.
“I can’t cut through”, the armoured woman said as she recovered herself from the air. “It’s like some barrier is protecting him as he transforms,” the armoured woman added with a heavy tone. General Ludwig gritted his teeth, “Then, our only option is to wait until he finished transforming”, he said as he gripped his trident tighter. “That’s right, that is your only option. Then, if you, please wait patiently, it would be amazing for me” suddenly, the armoured woman and General Ludwig heard a voice reverberating inside of their head. “Who are you?” General Ludwig asked as he tensed himself with caution. The armoured woman furrowed her eyebrows as she, too, readied herself.
A man with a white coat and a white mask appeared right in front of the transforming enemy. “Let’s just say I’m the one who made him like this. I’ve got to thank you. Thanks to you, he showed power from the device that I would never have seen. For that, I wholeheartedly thank you”, he said with a mysterious smile.
