Eru and Andre met up; they looked at each other before nodding simultaneously. They both had a tacit understanding between each other; that, if they did not work together with Mr Ken, the Draconian, both Eru and Andre would not stand a chance against the remaining black-cloaked men. A notification suddenly rang inside of Eru’s mind.

“About damn time”, Eru said to himself. He wondered when the quest prompt would happen as Eru didn’t get a quest before. Usually, when some major accident occurs, the system would give Eru a quest. Now that the system finally did it, Eru was glad. Before he got the quest, he was hesitant to use his full power, but now, it’s a different story. ‘Fate Points were on the line after all’, Eru thought.
When they arrived, both of them found a giant ring of fire. Inside it, there were two figures. One was short; he held two curved swords in a reverse grip, while the other was a towering figure with wings on his back. “Hmm?” the Draconian sensed the arrival of Andre and Eru, “You guys mind helping out? It would take a while dealing with this guy on my own”, said Mr Ken. The short man flinched; he became more cautious after he sensed that two other enemies joined the fight.
“Sure”, Andre said while Eru just nodded his head. Both of them jumped and landed near Mr Ken, the Draconian. “Follow my lead”, the Draconian said before roaring and charging at the blue-haired short man. The Draconian strike down at the short man with his gigantic claw. The short man managed to dodge the attack, but another attack fly came for him. Eru jumped into the air, catching the short man off guard; Eru cut off his path as he slashed using the black sword.
The short man could barely block the attack while keeping his guard up against a rushing Andre. The short man knew that he would face an oppressive stance from three of his enemies, so he always watched where they go. So when Eru cut off his path, he was ready, and now, when Andre was charging towards him, the blue-haired short man was prepared. The short man nimbly dodged Andre’s tackle and was preparing to slash at the latter.
The short man soon changes his mind when he saw a rushing Draconian striking at him. Although the short man kept track of his enemies movements, it was a different story whether he could deal with all of their attacks or not. The Draconian’s claw managed to scratch the short man’s arm while Eru’s attack sends the short man flying. Fortunately for the short blue-haired man, he’s able to manoeuvre himself on the air so that he could land safely on the ground, not on the ring of fire.
Blood drips from the short man’s mouth as he used his hand to wipe it off. “Give up,” Andre said, grinning from ear to ear, “You’re outmatched and outnumbered.” The short man grunted; not willing to give up, he brandished his twin swords towards Andre. The short man used his wrists to spin the sword around, creating a gale using the momentum and his own blue aura. “Argh”, Andre screamed, his body was launched backwards. After that, the short man turned his attention towards Eru.
The short blue-haired man thought that he needed to first deal with the two weaklings before handling the Draconian as he felt that it was the best plan for him to survive. However, the short man’s plan was destined to fail, as the Draconian used his mana, creating a pillar of rock around Eru, blocking the short man charge. The Draconian clenched his hand, the rock pillar breaks, its cluster flew towards the short blue-haired man. As they did, Eru eyes flashed. He put his sword sideways as a raven-coloured aura coated his sword.
The short man’s eyes squinted; he crossed his sword as it met with Eru’s sword. The blue aura clashed with the raven-coloured aura. Eru’s raven-coloured aura was at a disadvantage against the short man’s blue aura. Even so, Eru was not discouraged. Although Eru was losing, the clash also dampens the short man’s ability to move around. Andre saw this, and his mouth curled up into a smile. Using the opportunity made by Eru, Andre’s 3rd Grade Aura flare-up as a brown-coloured aura was seen coating himself and his sword.
The short man sensed Andre’s killing intent; the short man was in a conundrum. Either he let go and get hit by Eru’s attack, but because of that, he can block or even avoid Andre’s attack or continued to clash with Eru’s raven-coloured aura and firming Andre’s attack. The blue-haired short man’s eyes flashed, his decision’s made.
The short man chose to discard neither of his plans as he split his aura between his twin-curved sword. One sword he used to block Eru’s strike, while the other one he used to block Andre’s charge. After that, he saw a flying Draconian’s heading right towards him. The short man’s mouth curled up; he grinned from ear to ear as he slowly guides Eru’s aura towards Andre’s aura. The short man timed it perfectly, meeting them just as soon as the Draconian’s was about to hit him.
The blue-haired short man quickly jumped backwards, letting his three enemies attack hit each other before lashing out his own attack towards it. The impact caused an explosion so bright it lit up the night sky on the entire Aeolus area. Half of the pier was gone because of the explosion, as a massive crater was left on the spot. Miraculously, no one died from the explosion, but four unconscious figures were left in the explosion’s centre.
Back in Great Aeolus City, a white-haired man was staring at the window, looking at the blinding explosion. He rubbed his beard, and his eyes squinted. Then, he suddenly heard the door behind him was slammed open. A man with a ponytail was panting hard; he looked haggard, as evident by the pyjama’s he’s wearing right now. “Bad news, commander”, the ponytail man panted.
“I saw”, the white-haired man said, nodding his head. “But you don’t know, commander”, the man with a ponytail said. “What’s up, Rex?” the white-haired man turned his body around towards the man with a ponytail. “Half of the pier”, Rex, the man with a ponytail, tried to catch his breath; he says gravely, “Half of the pier is gone.” The white-haired man trimmed his beard with his hand, “I see”, he said calmly.
Rex’s expression went weird after hearing the white-haired man response, ‘How can he be so calm?’ he thought in his head. The white-haired man ruffled his cape, “Come, we’ll go see what’s going on”, he said while slowly walking out. “Right”, Rex said with a bright expression. When the white-haired man saw that Rex was following him in his pyjamas, he frowned and shook his head, “Are you going to follow me with that kind of outfit?” he said with a sigh. Realizing he’s still in his bedclothes, Rex’s face turned beet red, “Sorry, commander”, he said, swiftly jetting out from the place. “That child….”, the white-haired man shook his head in exasperation.

When the white-haired man and Rex arrived at Aeolus Pier, they found a massive crater near its shore. Inside the massive crater, they found three unconscious bodies lying in the centre. “Did those three caused this?” Rex said, his hand on his chin. The white-haired man looked around; he extended his aura, sensing one other people close to the place, “There are four people in the whole pier”, the white-haired man said to Rex. “Four?” Rex turned his head at the white-haired man. The white-haired man nodded; he looked around, seeing the damage that has been down to the pier; he sighed. ‘There’s going to be much paperwork for this’, he thought in his head.
Then, they heard many footsteps approaching them. “Took you all so long”, Rex said to his squad. “Reporting for duty, sir Rex”, a skinny, middle-aged man with bald hair saluted Rex, followed by the other soldiers. “Comb the area, search any suspicious people and cordoned up the pier!” Rex commanded. “Yes, sir!” the soldiers said simultaneously before dispersing out. The white-haired man waited until Rex was done and only spoke to him after. “So, what shall we do about these guys..”

Somewhere near Aeolus Pier, a red-haired man with tanned skin observed everything that has been going on. He shook his head, “That Astro failed….” the red-haired man said softly. The red-haired man clicked his tongue, “After I told him not to face the Draconian with only three people as well.” The red-haired man spat, “You can only blame yourself for this one, Astro”, he turned around he put on the black cloak. “Don’t worry, Astro. Your failure will be my success. I’ll finish your job in your stead”, he said with a grin before disappearing into thin air.
