“Yo, you’re alright, Rex?” Eru extended his hand towards his new friend with a ponytail. Rex shook his head as a small smile emerged on his face, “You bloody bastard! You’re late!” Rex cursed as he grabbed Eru’s hand. Eru flashed a smile at Rex, feeling quite delighted at himself. Then, they heard a roar filled with rage as the red monster came out from the rubble. “Damn it! That guy just won’t stay down”, Rex cursed as he readied up his spear. “Let’s fight together this time”, Eru suggested. “Right”, Rex nodded, “Here we come!”

Meanwhile, inside the colosseum’s dungeon, the white-haired old man, Simba, was sitting down in the middle of the room. “Why don’t you just come out already?” Simba spoke indifferently. A man in a black cloak emerged from the shadows. Unlike the other men in black cloaks, this one wore a skull mask with a single horn sticking out on his forehead. “I take you’re an Archon?” Simba asked nonchalantly. “I’m honoured to be able to meet a legend like you, Senior”, the Archon bowed, greeting the white-haired old man politely.
Simba scoffed, “Cut the bullshit. What do you want? What are your goals here?” The archon calmly replied, “Now, now, don’t be impatient. How about we have a nice little chat peacefully?” Simba frowned; his heart felt sour, “Sure, we can do that. But I prefer that I’m the one talking and you’re the one answering” Simba brandished his spear, “With you in a chain!” Simba shouted. Simba thrust his spear towards the Archon with force. “Temper, temper”, the Archon wanted to block Simba attack. However, his attempt was futile as Simba’s spear pierced through the Archon’s defence.
“W-what!?” The Archon stuttered as blood dripped from his shoulder. Simba pointed his spear at the Archon, “You people seemed to forget, I’m strong”, The Fierce Lion said with pride. “Even if your leader came personally, I wouldn’t be afraid, much less a mere Archon”, Simba sauntered towards the Archon, “But it seemed the Demonic Cult had become weaker. A single-horned Archon used to be able to at least dodge my spear once. If that’s the case, eradicating you lot would be easy.” Sweat dripped through Archon’s back as he stumbled backwards in fear.
“Now, you’re going to talk, or you will experience pain worse than death”, Simba threatened, his tone heavy as he never gave an empty threat.

At the same time that Simba was dealing with an Archon, Eru and Rex were facing against the transformed Zebulon. Eru could kill Zebulon quite easily. However, Rex said they should capture the red monster alive to figure out the Demonic Cult’s purposes. Eru agreed with Rex, but Zebulon is quite a hard man to pin down. The red-haired highlander’s special body constitution made it hard for Eru and Rex to subdue, causing headaches between the two of them. “What the heck is this guy made off? Even after I used the Dragon Force Technique together with Eruken, I still couldn’t knock this guy out”, complained Eru.
Eru turned his head towards Rex, “Are you sure you want to capture this guy alive? I could easily kill him, you know.” Rex let out a chuckle, “My apologies. It’s my oversight. I shouldn’t kill all of his subordinates.” Eru clicked his tongue, “Fine, but you’ll owe me one after this”, he said before launching himself to grab the red monster neck. “You’re going flying with me!” Eru flew high to the sky, grabbing Zebulon by his neck. Zebulon tried resisting, but Eru was too strong for the current Zebulon. “Go down!” Eru dived down from the sky. When he was close to the ground, Eru immediately threw Zebulon, causing a large explosion on the colosseum’s arena.
Thankfully, the colosseum was built to withstand strong impact or else, it would have broken down, hitting the resident below. Eru then landed near Rex, “Did I get him?” he asked. Rex shook his head, “Don’t know. But keep your guard up. Who knows if he can still stand up after that.” Eru nodded in agreement, “Right.” They waited for a hot minute, and seeing that nothing was coming out from the rubble, both Eru and Rex heaved a sigh of relief. “Finally, that fucker’s done”, Rex cursed. “Let’s just hope that he’s not dead”, Eru spoke. Rex flinched after hearing Eru as the two moved closer together towards the crash site.
“Roar!” with a roar, Zebulon jumped out from the crater, startling Eru and Rex. However, soon Zebulon’s body turned normal before passing out, falling down to the ground. “Phew, finally, he’s down” Eru turned off the Dragon Force Technique as he wiped the sweat from his face. Rex crouched down as he checked Zebulon’s pulse. “Good, he’s still alive”, Rex heaved a sigh of relief. “Good. Then, please”, Eru said wobbly. “Please, what?” Rex raised his eyebrow. “Get me to bed, I’m tired”, Eru chuckled before passing out.

Somewhere inside the world, an elderly person sat inside an office, sorting some documents in front of him. Suddenly, he frowned as he felt something was amiss. He felt terrified all of a sudden. The hair on his back stood up, and his body trembled. ‘What’s wrong with me?’ the elderly person thought to himself. Then, as if by cue, a person barged into the elderly person office. She panicked; sweat dripped down from her face while her whole body was quivering. “What’s wrong?” the elderly person asked. The woman calmed herself down by taking a deep breath before opening her mouth, “Elder, I got bad news.” The elderly person squinted his eyes as he scrutinized the young woman in front of him, “Speak.” The woman nodded, “An Archon had died, and Zebulon had been captured”, she said somberly.
“What did you say!?” The elderly person thundered; he slammed the table in front of him as his body jerked up. The woman flinched and trembled in fear as the elderly person’s aura leaked out. ‘Too much. The pressure from an 8th Grade Aura Master is suffocating,’ the woman clutched her chest as her knees buckled from the elderly person’s aura. Upon seeing the struggling woman to his aura, the elderly person calmed down before sitting back again, “What happened?” he asked. The woman heaved a sigh of relief while tidying up herself, “Report showed that they had a mission inside the Zephyr Kingdom. Unfortunately, we did not know much about it. According to the survivor, the Archon died by the commander of the kingdom’s army.”
“Hmm”, the elderly person rubbed his chin, “Take me to the survivor.” The woman led the elderly person towards the infirmary. There, the elderly man found an injured person wrapped in bandages all over his body. “Elder”, the infirmary workers greeted the elderly person. He nodded, “How is he?” One of the doctors came up, “He’s injured all over his body. Luckily, he managed to get out in time using the runic passage, or he wouldn’t survive until now.” The elderly person approached the injured man. He touched the injured man’s forehead, sending some sort of energy towards the injured man.
The injured man suddenly woke up and felt that his body was better already. He got up and saw the elderly person was looking at him. He quickly bowed, “Elder.” The elderly man nodded, “Can you tell me what happened?” The injured man nodded, and when he was about to speak, his body trembled all over. An unknown force welled up inside of the injured man body, wanting to explode out. The elderly person frowned; he swiftly put his hand on the injured man’s chest.
The elderly person felt a violent surge of energy inside of the injured man. “Tch”, the elderly person clicked his tongue. He pursed his lips in annoyance as he continued to pour more energy to counter the violent aura inside the injured man. Time passed, and after a couple of hours, the violent aura inside the injured man’s body was finally being subdued down. The people inside the infirmary took a deep breath before heaving a sigh of relief. They felt that they were about to die before. If not for the elderly person, the energy would’ve had exploded, killing everybody inside the infirmary.
“Who did this to you?” The elderly person asked; his tone was heavy. The injured man panted hard; he struggled to keep his consciousness open, but he had a duty to fulfil. And that is to tell the elderly person what he saw. “The one that killed the Archon. A person about two meters tall in height. He had white hair with a long white beard. I believe the Archon called him Sim-” before he finished, the injured man couldn’t hang on for much longer before taking his last breath. “Sim?” the elderly person squinted his eyes. Suddenly his eyes opened wide as realization dawned on him, “Simba, The Fierce Lion!” the elderly person’s body trembled in fear.
Then, the elderly person looked at the woman, “Be sure to reward his next of kin. Our church will always reward contribution”, he said before hurriedly jetting out from the infirmary. The people inside the infirmary could feel that something was off from how the elderly person quickly left the infirmary, but they did not dare to ask.
