The situation within the places of Grace and Mira twisted over, a certain level of calmness settling in as the talk went in another direction. This time, Austin should have been there to help Grace through it, but he let that duty towards Mira, knowing the fact that it would strengthen the relationship between the two.
The stronger their relationship, the easier it would be to deal with the stuff when some of the truths start to flow out into the world, and thus, in this case, Mira went forth to help Grace adapt to the issue at hand, a lot of talk going on between the two, as two powerful women in the world began their planning.
The truth was bitter and not easy to swallow at all, but Grace wasn’t going to break from it. She has gone through and lived through worse, and she had prepared her heart in cases like this. She didn’t expect such a huge wall but expected walls to block her love from coming forth, a wall that would also block the happiness of her daughters.
Thus, she was prepared long ago to battle whatever kind of situation lands in front of her. To Grace, this is just another kind of war, a war she has no desire to ever lose in life. Thus, maintaining control over her mind, Grace started to talk it over with Mira, the two of them helping and supporting each other as the faction representing the family slowly grew.
“Mira, you sure you want to get into this? I know it’s about Austin being forced into this, but you don’t have to forcefully put yourself in this game.”
Grace spoke with a light tone, her words containing reason. The main reason Grace is going so far out is because of the love she wants to defend, but what about Mira? To her, it’s her nephew being locked with a dragon and being forced to date, and it’s not like it affects Mira much. After all, love can bloom afterwards, right?
In a sense, it would be good for Austin, too. I mean, he’s getting a dragon as his wife, and while she is indeed forcing it, it’s not like Scarlet is any less beautiful or powerless. In fact, the dragons are also known for their loyalty, so Austin would never have to worry about cheating or getting stabbed in the back; it’s a win-win in a sense.
So Mira doesn’t have to fight back against it as much as Grace has to. The question made Mira hesitate a bit, her expression turning into one of slight guilt as she wanted to tell the truth, but the reminders of Austin flashed in her mind, his voice ringing like a hammer. Thus, she held her words back for now.
“I have seen Austin come through a lot of problems. He has faced it all and has had enough problems in his life. I couldn’t protect him in it all, but this time I want to. I don’t want to let him down again.”
Mira’s words were filled with conviction as she said this, making Grace smile a bit, the depth of emotions between them clear to see. A light smile filled the faces of the two women as they looked at each other, their desire being the same. Yet, the two didn’t know that they had the same fire within each other.
Their desire was simple and single; it was just to make sure that the man they love will be safe and happy.
It was mixed with their selfish desire of not having to ever give him up to anyone else, no other girl, no matter how powerful or amazing they might be.

Austin’s POV:
‘Guess that’s settled out in a moment.’
I thought, seeing the fact that the talk between my mother and my aunt went well. The situation would have taken a whole other direction if I didn’t keep my eyes on them. The fire that bloomed in Mira’s heart, to tell the truth, wasn’t something small at all, and if I hadn’t pulled the small lever of control, she might have perhaps blurted out the truth.
I am also happy to see the fact that the emotions for my mother have also settled in. I was a bit afraid that despair would have taken her over, leading to a bad end that I didn’t want to deal with, but things took a good enough turn, and the only part left for me was the part of dealing with it all when I get back to the house.
I am sure that my mother will move to inform the other, too, thus forming the full loop. In a sense, I am not doing all of this without a full plan. I have a way to keep their despair and give them the light they might need to keep up with a chance of getting me free from the evil clutches of the dragon.
‘All things in moderation, they say.’
I smiled at that thought, my sense focusing on Trisha, feeling her absence. This arises from the fact that she no doubt has gone forth to meet with her grandmother. Slowly, the pieces there would move, which would allow me to take some more harsher actions that I need to take. With that thought, I looked at the sleepy head enjoying herself in my embrace.
“You had your fun, now it’s time to be responsible and get back to the world and deal with your followers who might be going crazy searching for you.”
I spoke.
“Um… five more minutes…”
Luna complied as she shifted herself lightly in my lap, the little wolf trying to act cute in my embrace, making my lips twitch as I went forth to lightly tap her nose, giving it a small poke and a tap.
“I want to sleep!…”
Luna complained in a little more raised tone, but she understood the importance of the fact. Outside, there lay her loyal followers, who had been awaiting her for a lifetime. Pushing things back anymore would just be an insult to them, though it’s not like they would care, but Luna herself has her own responsibilities, and she can’t just push it forth anymore.
Thus, with a pout on her wolf face, Luna, in her small form, snatched herself from my lap, giving me the big pout as she went forth to stand fully straight, her gaze a bit commanding as she looked at me.
“I will be back soon, so don’t get into any problems quickly, got me?!”
As Luna said so, she pointed her paw at me, seemingly trying to look very intimidating as she bared her cute canines, her form far from being intimidating as she did so. A smile came to my face as I caught both of her paws in my hands, my nose going to cutely rub against her nose while placing a light kiss on her forehead.
“Sure, I will try my best to stay out of trouble.”
Even though Luna acted unfazed, I could see her tail wiggling happily behind her while she looked and felt very happy with the small caress I gave her, reminding us of the past times we spent with each other, us against the world, you could say.
“Humph! I will be back soon!”
With that, Luna disappeared from my lap. No doubt she would soon come back to me, and thus, with that thought, I leaned back into the chair, my sense feeling upon the area as I spoke.
“Come to me.”
And as I said so, Farah, in all her glory, came in front of me. But the gaze she now held for me had a whole different league to it as she looked at me with trembling eyes. Seeing this, I sighed inwardly as I accessed the godhood of blood I had given to me, and soon, the room itself trembled within a certain presence.
Beautiful red wings that seemed to be created from the holiest of blood seemed to rise behind me, shuffling through the world, an aura of absolute control over blood blooming within me as I looked at Farah, who now seemingly had an increased awe, reverence, and will, something of unending fascination in her eyes as she bowed deeply to me.
“I greet the heavenly All-Father, the beginning of blood, the one that blood stays absolute, the one that all blood begins from, I greet the God of Blood!”
Her will was so defined that I had to contain it in this room, or else a large part of the city would have been affected by it, and I could understand where this increased level of fascination and other shifts were coming from. A whole other level of bond now forms between the two of us as I look down at Farah.
“You are still my servant, and I am still your master, so you can call me master when we are alone, I don’t mind it.”
I spoke in a light tone.
“It would be my greatest honour to be among the first to serve your lordship! When shall we begin the creation of our realm and power?”
The immense fires now formed within the mind of Farah, and right now she was no longer the little chick with a small mindset because the moment I grew up, I also made sure to use my divinity to push forth the growth and maturity of Farah. She has already grown forth and become a very well-respected blood that follows mine and only my will.
