Chapter 381: 381. ENLIGHTENMENT
“Well, it only lasts for short while. At least for tier 4 cultivators. I believe it would do a whole lot for someone your level,” she revealed shaking her head at the hunger Noah’s eyes radiated.
“I see,” Noah managed to snap out of his daze momentarily.
“Mhm…” Her eyes moved as he nodded.
“So why are you giving me something so valuable?” Noah’s paranoia managed to pull him even further out of his daze.
With an amused smile growing wider on her face, Riveta opened her mouth to speak. “Well it’s not valuable to me since it only works for beings in tier four and below,” she explained.
“And it only brings people to enlightenment for short periods, what ever they do with that chance is up to them. So it’s more of a gamble. You might even wish I never showed this to you since it can cause the highest of aches if not utilized properly.”
“That makes me not want to drink it now. You just confirmed that it could be potentially dangerous,” Noah spoke as his daze finally shattered. His mind had managed to get used to it pretty much quickly.
“Would you have preferred if I had not told you?” She questioned, leaving Noah no choice but to believe that she truly did not have any bad intentions.
“It’s your choice to drink it or not. I only offered you for the sake of goodwill,” she stated.
A difficult expression tried to break out on Noah’s face at that point, but he kept it in; while he consulted the system about the issue.
“Will it work for me?” Noah asked.
[[The soul realm could be called a neutral ground. It doesn’t necessarily require external energy to perform but they do help it]]
[[For your case, however, things take a turn. You are not completely human, but you’re also not completely speedling]]
[[In short, it should work]]
Noah could only re-focus his gaze on the jug at that confirmation. His eyes darted between Riveta, the jug, and the tower. In honesty, he wanted to see the insides of a place a tier 5 being could call home.
A helpless sigh escaped his mouth at some point and, Riveta’s face brightened up, and Noah managed to catch a glimpse of it. She truly was gorgeous.
“Why would a tier five existence be so excited,” Noah clicked his tongue.
“Well, I’m still human. And I’m still a woman. I believe if I had faced you with a condescending demeanor you wouldn’t be here.”
“Beggar’s can’t be choosers. No one ever comes my way. And if they do I usually end up killing them or something,” she giggled watching Noah frown; already at alert
“I have enemies too, and they’ve been tracking me which is why I decided to move about the continents,” she revealed.
“Do you want the tea?” She asked, and made the jug rise and fill the cup before him when he nodded.
Before he drank the tea, Noah thought he would ask a few questions concerning what she had revealed.
“So in short a tier five cultivator could arrive here and start a battle with you?” Noah spoke swirling the completely black liquid that was the tea.
“If you put it like that then the answer is yes,” she scratched her right cheek with a wry smile.
Noah shook his head and quickly downed the tea at that point.
“It’s surprisingly sweet,” he commented trying to savor its taste when he felt his head almost explode.
Noah directly slumped on the table, but not in pain. His body began to shake violently, then a loud cry escaped his lips.
Noah’s blue eyes literally generated a light of their own, as they were wide open.
Thoughts that felt heavy as they coursed through his mind were generated. He found himself deciphering things he never gave a second glance.
His soul core began to churn madly as its size started to increase, and so did his soul island. Noah was experiencing a boon he didn’t think he would experience before his dungeon dive.
A deeper understanding of his elements befell him and as a result, the wind began to spin madly.
Bolts of electricity started to be generated from kilometers around him as he had subconsciously unfolded his consciousness.
Noah saw his area of influence spread until it reached 10km in radius.
Chaos threatened to spill forth at that point.
Literal storms of his three elements combined were given birth to, and a significant portion of the surrounding areas saw ice spreading on its surface.
Noah unknowingly turned areas into icy terrains, but that sight didn’t bring surprise to Riveta’s face, who simply watched as the events played out.
“I can see them!” Noah exclaimed and his voice reverberated throughout the areas his consciousness was capable of covering.
“I can see the elements. Why are these arrays and why are they so tight?” Noah found himself asking, as something stopped him from generating more results with his affinities.
“That is the limits of those who are still within the world’s care,” Riveta suddenly spoke.
“You can see those arrays only because of this temporary empowerment. You will need to cross over into tier four to be capable of achieving effects that you never thought were possible.”
“This is why the road to tier four is very personal. Since not even the world would be able to stop you. Meaning your destructive abilities will shoot through the roof.”
“Your imaginative abilities will be your limit,” She explained calmly even if her voice managed to overshadow every single event that was occurring in the surrounding kilometers.”
It didn’t matter that storms were going on, her voice buried the sounds of everything as even the necklace couldn’t help Noah withstand the pressure coming from her voice. But he didn’t pass out, he didn’t even seem to notice that he had begun to bleed from his nose.
“I need to break off of the world’s control to be able to achieve more power,” Noah muttered gazing at the tight arrays of weird rope-like structures that filled the world around him. He couldn’t find their beginning or their ending. But there were also thousands of those ropes connected to him.
To accomplish greater power all he had to do was sever those lines from himself. But he couldn’t do that no matter how much he tried.

As many times as Noah tried; that panel appeared in his blazing eyes until the effects of the tea began to wear off. He had spent about twenty minutes in that state and had been seated throughout.
Immediately the tea’s effects ended, a splitting headache be-fell him so much so that he immediately passed out.
“In the end you still entered my house,” a warm smile appeared on Riveta’s face. He had surpassed her imagination, and had gazed at a world only tier 4’s could. Meaning his very existence saw it fit that he stepped into the next realm already. Even if he was still in the middle-stage of tier 3.
“Who are you, Aiden?” She ran her fingers against his cold cheeks before she teleported in a blue light. The table, chair and jug followed her depature, including Noah.
