Chapter 70: 70. INCREDIBLE
The week passed by incredibly fast, Noah and James had used it all to get to know the amazing city better. Noah also got to find out that the city actually had places where you could get tamed magical beasts, and keep them with as pets, or for moving carriages.
Although they were a little costly, it wasn’t too much, but the thought of buying one didn’t cross his mind, since the bright figure had said he would receive pets eventually, and so far, from what he had received from the system, he was certain those pets would be crazy.
Today they had woken up early, since the cards had buzzed the other night, and surprisingly a voice came out of it, saying the next day was the day, and all participants were to get to the collusem before afternoon.
This wasn’t an issue as the the two of them had gotten up really early, ate in the cafeteria, and left for the collusem, but shock filled Noah’s mind when an incredibly long queue entered his sight, though it reduced really fast, it was still a long line. Making him wonder if people even slept at all.
After a bit more than 20 minutes, Noah got to the gate of the collusem. “Are you a participant or spectator,” the armoured man said in a deep voice.
“A participant,” Noah said.
“Show me your proof,” the man replied.
Retrieving the card from his inventory, Noah infused Mana into it. Making a projection of his face appear on it.
The man nodded and pointed at a separate gate from the collesems main one.
Waking inside a dark passage way, Noah walked for a bit more than five minutes, before an immense room entered his sight.
The room was incredibly large, so large Noah was sure he could almost fit a small town into it. He honestly wondered how this was possible, though he knew how.
He could swear that the sun was shining and the Collusem was open, but this place had a very high roof, one that Noah knew if he fell from he would definitely get injured. The room was lit with yellow mana bulbs, many of them.
“Incredible, right,?” the amazed voice of James rang behind him. Turning to glance at him, Noah replied, “Yeah it is.”
Noah’s eyes fell on the multitude of people inside the room. He could bet his entire life that the people here numbered in their hundreds.
“Where are they even going to fit these amounts of humans,’ Noah shouted inwardly.
Though the place was not nearly half full, the population was crazy. Noah was certain if he killed everyone present, he would definitely reach tier 3. Though he quickly shook that thought off. He couldn’t help but wonder if that blood thirsty thought, was because of the “Killer title”, or because he was simply stating facts.
Noah and James moved around a bit, there were no chairs there, so they had to stand, but that wasn’t a problem.
After a bit of walking the chattering of humans became incredibly loud. Though it was to be expected, after all there were hundreds of humans present.
Noah tried inspecting the men and women there. Some of them had light garments on while others were donned in armours of different colours and size.
Glancing at his attire, he couldn’t help but feel weird, his former attire had been destroyed, and this was the one Augustus gave him, but compared to the others even James, he looked I’ll prepared for the whole dangerous event.
“We both know that armours don’t really change a difference right!. You are not normal and that’s a fact, but I won’t ask why until you tell me,” James said with a short laugh.
Noah could only smile helplessly at that point the man was right. The minutes passed as the influx of humans reduced, it seemed those who were really participating came very early.
Eventually the whole thing got boring, Noah even sat on the incredibly tiled floor, ignoring the weird looks people gave him. Some even tried to bad mouth him, but a few cold stares here and there fixed it.
The thing was that most of the experts there were at either the lower stage of tier 2 or the middle stage, with a few being in the peak.
This detail greatly surprised Noah, ‘Peak stage,’ Noah shouted in his mind. He couldn’t help but shoot immensely confused gaze’s at James, while ideas began to form in this mind, and he didn’t like them.
Although something changed after an hour or so of boredom. From the entrance into the massive room, a group of people could be seen walking in, they only numbered a bit over fifty, but there were a lot of differences, as even the chattering of humans seemed to reduce.
The group were dressed in different attires and armours, but one look and Noah could tell some of their hair pins worth more than he did!.
At the forefront was a young man, who looked to be in his twenties. He was around 6ft in height. He had blonde hair which he kept short. Noah couldn’t tell what his eye color was due to the distance.
He wore a red robe which had multiple inscriptions on it. And his way of walking made Noah think he was from a noble family.
And shockingly he radiated power in the peak stage of tier 2.
Beside him was another young man, he was around the same height as the first guy, and he had long brown hair, but he radiated power in the top of the middle stage, basically ready to spill over.
The other’s were mixed with men and women but the two at the forefront seemed to be the strongest, since the others were mostly lower stage and middle stage.
The chattering in the massive room reduced, as Noah saw that people gave way for the group.
It seemed most people knew those faces, but he couldn’t care less. After all his main problem was why peak stage tier 2’s were in the game.
Not long after another group but smaller entered the place, but this time led by a lady, Noah got able to inspect her facial features, after she was close enough, though still a bit further away from him.
The lady looked around Noah’s age, she had black silky hair that fell on her incredible shoulders, her face was fair as it held many delicate features, like her love shaped cherry lips, her slim eyebrows which seemed to hold many secrets.
She was donned in green and black skin tight armour, that let her incredible curves be made know to the world, the two balls that rested on her chest seemed able to lift the very heavens themselves, her delicate footsteps that made even ballerinas pale in comparison, and lastly her crimson red eyes, which seemed to hold deep pain and happiness.
Noah had never seen someone so elegant and beautiful in his whole life, the thought of walking over to over to her crossed his mind, but for the first time since he got to Cregar, he lost confidence immediately.
He seemed tiny compared to her, even though she was only in the top of the middle stage.
Though he had been sitting, Noah was currently on his feet, his eyes following the movement of this angel, as shock filled his mind when her eyes met his.
